I don't even understand how people can ride in cars without wearing a seatbelt. Maybe if you're old enough for them to have only became common during your lifetime, it may not be second nature to you. At 22, I can't bring myself to not fasten my seatbelt.

There have been a few instances in the past where I haven't been able to access the seatbelt for whatever reason and I was fucking terrified.

Great stuff, but something about the tail on the number at the end of 20-XX really bugs me. I wish the font was different.

1988 is supposedly the year the person was born. We are to imagine that the number following it would be the year of their death, if they had not have been wearing a seatbelt in a hypothetical car crash. However, this number is covered up by the seatbelt which was in fact being worn, therefore the year of their death remains unknown as they are still alive.
