That's havasu falls I believe, it's in northern Arizona. A beautiful place no doubt.

You are very nearly right. That's been one of my favorite photos for ages. Havasupai Falls is what it's called though some sources do say Havasu Falls. It's in the Havasupai Reservation in the Grand Canyon. For sure in Arizona, though.
