Looking at that graph, I'd say take Turkey out of the regression - then you have what looks like a straight line fit, slightly positive gradient. To me it looks like it is "over-fit" to Turkey.

What you seem to be implying with the chart is that "there's your problem" is referring to the other countries being atheists? If USA is depicted as the second richest GDP country only to Norway- which means very little since they have a very small population.

If you're implying that America has a problem financially compared to the other countries, learn to read graphs.
