I, like most people (I think), watch porn.

But when I think about it, why is it illegal to pay someone for sex (in most places in the US), but it is legal if you film and distribute it?

forget that, "fucking" is legal, selling is legal, why isnt selling "fucking" legal. You can give it away for free, people tend to do it on the first date plus a little extra. The US army gives medals to guys who bomb buildings with innocent children, but giving someone an orgasm is a bad thing, think about it.

So you're saying that prostitution should be legal. OK. But lets say you are a woman and you have no job. The easiest way for you to make money is prostitution. You don't like it, but there it is. Now women (or male prostitutes I guess) decide that they don't want real jobs, they just want to sell themselves. I'm not sure what the repercussions of this would be

So what, there are hundreds of thousands of prostitutes, mostly female, that dont have an education, they dont have the requirements for jobs, most of the low paying, minimum wage jobs are taken. My mother had to work as a waitress supporting 2 kids on her own, she didnt automatically fall into prostitution. Working for tips, working 12 hours a day, getting her money taken by her employer. Do you actually believe all women and some men cant find jobs BESIDES prostitution. Thats an outrageous accusation. Theres construction work, waitressing, garbage industries, government jobs, etc. Lets be realistic here, those who cant look any further for a "decent" soul sucking job besides prostitution deserve to be prostitutes. At that point they dont care enough. Like that octomom woman. She doesnt give a shit about her image, she doesnt care about how she gets money, she doesnt care about whether or not she gets degraded. So she goes to the porn industry and does a few scenes. Prostitution most of the time shows someones personality, usually the types that are attracted to prostitution are junkies, heroin and crack addicts, looking for another fix. Im a realist, and thats the way you have to deal with issues like these. The reality is harsh and cold but being that it is makes it that much more real. Prostitution is a victimless crime. Those who partake either know the risks and dont care or are desperate for things like drugs, substances, etc.

Im glad you figured that one out. I just copied that one statement. Its always a good thing to reiterate those who knew what the fuck they we're talking about. Once again, health is just another risk those who do take advantage of this product should realize.

I've seen a few articles on this before, and from what I understand he just wants stricter guidelines/filters on pornography. Also from what I understand, a lot of his campaign funding comes from porn companies, so I find it highly unlikely that he just wants to "get rid of porn."
