I was hanging out by a pond one time, and saw some cattails. Not having any experience with them, I decide that I want to play with them. I grab the only reachable part, the actual tail, on two different ones, and pull as hard as I can. That shit fucking exploded all over me like a fucking whale bukkake. The fallout area covered probably 1000sq.ft. of once serene park property. I found that shit in my clothes and other places months later.

I remember playing with cattails as a kid - we'd throw them at other kids and they'd explode. really painful to get that stuff in your eye, but really satisfying to nail the annoying bratty kid (every neighborhood has one) right in the face.
