I was referring to it breaking a different part of reddiquette. My point of getting involved was to show you, and other people, that it is. I got him when I was 5 and he was a kitten. He always liked sitting on my chest, and as he got bigger faster then I did I would put his arms on my shoulders. As the years went on I kept growing and he stopped. It turned into him hugging me and nuzzling my chin. He'd do it when i got home, when I'd be trying to do something or watch something, when I'd be sad. He was the best cat ever. Most cats I've had since don't seem to be very cool being face to face with a giant human long enough to learn this. Closest I've come is my current one that will poke you in the eye if you ignore her.

Ah, so it would be like a raising from a birth thing. We had two cats that were given to us from our neighbors who didn't know that their cat was a female. So when she had her litter, my mother raised (I think there was 5-7 born) them from birth. Sadly, the one that I grew attached to was scratched in the eye as a kitten, so he had eye problems. A couple years or so later, he started to have seizures and I believe he had epilepsy. It was very sad because when i was younger I would roll around on the floor and he would chase me. But, with the special medication and all the stress it put on my mom, we had him put down. I wasn't sad then but I am a lot now, as his sister likes me but being the stereotypical cat she is doesn't want to be loved when I want to pet her.
