I've also heard it been called the Guetta piano.

[–]douglasr007 28 points29 points ago

Nah, you need 8 keys for those pianos so you can at least have one of the beats be an octave lower/higher than the other.

[–]yesyesyesalright 27 points28 points ago

I think you mean 12...

[–]flamescape 41 points42 points ago

I think you mean 13...

[–]azn_dude1 4 points5 points ago

Do any of you know how to count? You need 17 to get the same thing an octave up, from C to E.

[–]happygreeneyes 2 points3 points ago

C to C is an octave. It's 13 total, with white keys (C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C) and black keys (C#/Db, D#/Eb, F#/Gb, G#/Ab, A#/Bb).

Edit: Of course, if you wanted to be able to go an octave above any of the other notes, you would need 11 more keys to go up to the higher B, so that would be 24 total.

[–]azn_dude1 2 points3 points ago

If you want what's in the picture plus an octave up, you need C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D#, and E, which is 17

[–]DifficultApple 1 point2 points ago

The fuck are you talking about

[–]CriticalHalt 1 point2 points ago

I know how to count but don't know the piano. I say 16.

[–]PaintyFilms 17 points18 points ago

I'd like to save this guy's post by pointing out that he probably thinks that most rap music won't branch out from diatonic. And he's probably right.

Odds of pop/rap/hiphop branching out past a diatonic scale are pretty low. I wouldn't bet on a lot of secondary harmony or branching out from a modal feel. This is especially true considering repetitive aspects of most pop music. Not a lot of room for creative development considering the audience either.

On an unrelated note: Del the funkee homosapien is one of my favorite hip hop artists.

[–]phatmattj -1 points0 points ago

Upvote for del! I love Mr. Dobalina

[–]dodspringer 2 points3 points ago

Repetitive aspects of pop music.

So in other words, all aspects of pop music

[–]PaintyFilms 6 points7 points ago

eh. Depends on what your definition of "pop" is. Modern pop? Yeah, most if it is purely manufactured to be popular/catchy and not much else. Record companies have to milk your money somehow, and "easy to follow tension-and-release music" is the go-to product nowadays.

Older pop music (or literally, the popular music of that time) gets a bit more interesting though. Jazz, prog rock, etc. all tend to branch out a little more. The Beatles harmonic rhythm and progressions in particular probably jump out more than any other wildly successful pop group in history. Lots of interesting stuff going on in that generations "pop" music.

One of these days I'm gonna sit down with the top 10 chart and try to find secondary chords to see if my suspicions are correct haha. Science!

Music Science!

[–]srslykindofadick 2 points3 points ago

There's more modal stuff than you'd expect oftentimes. I don't know what's there right now cause I haven't looked at the hot 100 for a few weeks, and haven't transcribed anything for months, but Call Me Maybe is in lydian, and a whole lot of dance songs are in aeolian. So not a lot of secondary dominants or anything, but something other than I, IV, V and vi.

Also, I'm not entirely sure your assertion about older pop being more complex is entirely right. I mean if you go beyond 1950, then yeah you have a lot of crooners and big band stuff which is full of seventh chords, tensions, modulations (not just a half step up), modal interchange, etc. but then in much of the fifties and sixties you have drastic simplification. The late sixties and early seventies saw some of that stuff you were talking about with the Beatles, but then it has mostly remained pretty simple.

But I don't think that simplicity is a bad thing. As a songwriter with a formidable knowledge of theory I oftentimes feel a little guilty not using anything more advanced than diatonic chords in a song, but frequently that's the best thing to do. It's nice to have the ability to introduce more harmonic complexity at your disposal, but when you try shoehorning it into songs, they often end up the worse for it. I don't think revered acts like the Beatles are immune to that. Hell, one of my favorite Beatles songs is Chains of Love which is just a blues.

[–]PaintyFilms 0 points1 point ago

Modal stuff is still technically diatonic, so it still applies to the 8 key theory. It would just include a different order of keys. Though I see your point.

I'd still agree with myself (isn't that a great statement?) that older pop is more complex. Or at the very least, was more likely to be complex. I don't really hear much harmony branching out on tunes on modern pop-radio stations. The only reason I feel like it's a bad thing is because of lack of variety. Like you say, simplicity and poor quality are not mutually exclusive things. The lack of variety just kills my ears over time though. If all pop music were 12 tone I'd probably still be incredibly bored.

On the other hand, just listening to stuff like Dragonforce is literally like "BWANANANANANA SOLOLOLOLOLO !DIRECT MODULATION! BWANANANANANANA !DIRECT MODULATION! WANANANANA, etc" and it's just boring in its own very distinct way. (Not my cup of tea, sorry if you're a fan) I feel like some prog music I listen to gets this way sometimes.

Sorry for wall-o-texts. I don't get to discuss this sort of thing in my everyday life so I'm trying to take advantage of it. It's fun!

Also: minimalism is awesome!

[–]srslykindofadick 0 points1 point ago

I think there's an argument to be had that diatonic harmony and modal harmony are two different things. I mean, the scales are diatonic but the harmony functions completely differently. In diatonic tonal harmony, you've got tonic, subdominant and dominant functions, where in modal harmony you basically just have tonic, cadential, and other/don't-play-it.

It should perhaps be noted that I'm basing this off the theory taught at the school I attend, so it's possible that different curricula teach it differently.

[–]dodspringer 0 points1 point ago

the best kind of science :)

EDIT: And yes, I was referring to today's pop music.

[–]iGotChubs4You 0 points1 point ago

12keys.

[–]jesuschristthe3rd 3 points4 points ago

Makes me think of Shimmy ya from ODB, there's actually one key too much on the keyboard.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbgPZlxbsUc

[–]Funkonomic 1 point2 points ago

It's the Jaws piano.

[–]Dujen 0 points1 point ago

Guetta jokes always get an upvote from me since he himself is nothing more than an unfunny, cruel & sad joke.

[–]LittleBillyBad 160 points161 points ago

This piano really speaks to me, especially since anytime I get near a real piano I only ever end up playing "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" anyways

WUTANG KILLA BEES ON THE SWARM

[–]TheGoomba 38 points39 points ago

C.R.E.A.M. uses a full harmonic minor scale. You'd need over 2 of these "rap pianos" in different tunings to play it.

Edit: Why did every comment below this get a ton of downvotes? O_o; some people just flying through downvoting all comments without reading them? It's really strange.

[–]pizzatime 11 points12 points ago

The sample from CREAM is The Charmels - As Long as I've Got You. It's the reason I got into making beats.

[–]TheGoomba 2 points3 points ago

Thank you. I kinda figured it was sampled, but never knew for sure. Hope your production takes you to awesome places! I make chiptune casually, but decided not to pursue a career in music.

[–]pizzatime 2 points3 points ago

Thank you! Will you PM some music over?

[–]TheGoomba 6 points7 points ago

I have a lot of the stuff I've made on my soundcloud.

Here's my first Chiptune I did - http://soundcloud.com/goomba-joe/a-simple-illusion-of-matter

And my most complex chiptune (took about a year of on and off work) - http://soundcloud.com/goomba-joe/meteoric-discoveries-i-little

Also on my soundcloud are some mixes and mashups I've done of ideas I went back and rerecorded after gigs I DJd, and an "album" of various electronic music styles I made my freshman year of college. I'm actually pretty embarrassed of that album now, but everyone starts somewhere. It has stuff ranging from game music to electronic jazz, to a 20th century piece using Set and Prime Form Theory I did for a class.

I've got a lot of chiptune pieces that are about half done, but I spend sometimes 3-9 months working on and off on a single piece. It's slow, but when I finish a piece I tend to really like it.

[–]pizzatime 0 points1 point ago

This is great. I've got Meteoric Discoveries going and I think if you keep working on it you could be on par with Nobuo Uematsu.

Have you ever thought of hooking up with a programmer for some video game music? Also, what software do you use?

[–]A_Random_package 0 points1 point ago

Off on a natural charge, bon voyage!

[–]Strong__Belwas 22 points23 points ago

The piano is sampled from the Stevie Wonder song "Knocks Me Off My Feet." It's actually a really well done sample when you listen to Stevie's version vs. what the RZA turned it into. That's why RZA is one of the best rap producers ever.

[–]DoctorsAdvocate 13 points14 points ago

Me and the RZA connect

[–]GMBeats95 8 points9 points ago

The only thing I ever knew how to play on the piano was C.R.E.A.M.

[–]Beau87 9 points10 points ago

Biz Markie - Just a Friend

"OHHH BABY YOU... / YOU GOT WHAT I NEEEEE-EEED. / BUT YOU SAY HE'S JUST A FRIEND / AND YOU SAY HE'S JUST A FRIEND!"

I distinctly remember a piano in that song, though more in imagery from the music video and not so much from the song.

[–]FOOGEE 0 points1 point ago

The chorus that's throughout the song is backed by Piano

[–]ThePoonHunter 46 points47 points ago

Oh look, I can play a major third.

[–]Lord_Bumberchute 84 points85 points ago

We know you prefer the minors, though.

[–]ImJustJokingCalmDown 47 points48 points ago

Minor chords are more difficult to finger though. For instance , I always find it's hard to finger A minor.

[–]amayain 16 points17 points ago

I was about to be offended but then realized you were just joking and consequently, i calmed down.

[–]meltedlaundry 9 points10 points ago

No, minors are indeed tough to finger.

[–]Ansaldo 4 points5 points ago

It's funny because the Am chord is all white keys.. amirite

[–]sakaionrye 2 points3 points ago

That joke is still funny.

[–]delphi_ote 0 points1 point ago

Yea, a rap keyboard would be a pentatonic scale.

[–]Tashre 155 points156 points ago

First of all, rapping is a lyrical style, so the music backing it is complementary instead of a defining factor as it is with, say, Rock or Country.

At any rate, here's a few songs that incorporate a more than basic implementation of a piano/keyboard that I could think of off the top of my head.

Mr Lif - Because They Made It That Way

Binary Star - Reality Check

Eminem - Mockingbird

Fort Minor - Believe Me

Kanye West - Homecoming

Outkast - Roses

Nappy Roots - Good Day

Tupac - I Ain't Mad At Cha

[–]Aureoloss 11 points12 points ago

Wow man, I had never heard of Mr Lif before. Really liking his songs so far

[–]qasman 14 points15 points ago

Nujabes.

Just Nujabes.

[–]donaldrobertsoniii 0 points1 point ago

Nujabes - Blessing it is a good example of the topic at hand, and Voice of Autumn has a nice piano piece as well.

[–]pour7me7another 14 points15 points ago

A couple more

Nas - I Know I can

Atmosphere - Yesterday

Those are the only ones I could think of where the piano is the star of the beat.

[–]poolcrackers 8 points9 points ago

That Atmosphere song is amazing, don't know if one line's ever hit me so hard.

[–]MagicalAndrew 2 points3 points ago

My dad passed away a little over a week ago. I recited these lyrics as part of my tribute/eulogy. We never saw much of each other on the account of his drinking problem and parent separation. This song has always been my top song of Slugs but now it holds a closer meaning to me.

[–]zedoriah 3 points4 points ago

Atmosphere is AMAZING. If you like them check our Brother Ali, Grieves, and Blue Scholars. Maybe try some Macklemore.

[–]Paladinlost 2 points3 points ago

Not to disrespect your taste, but IMO - Grieves is absolutely terrible. Please enjoy Brother Ali, Doomtree (Sims, P.O.S., Dessa, Mike Mictlan, and Cecil Otter, plus Paper Tiger and Lazerbeak), Musab, I Self Divine, Eyedea and Abilities (RIP), I Self Divine, Aesop Rock, and Toki Wright. The Twin Cities scene runs too deep to enjoy crap like Grieves.

[–]zedoriah 1 point2 points ago

Yeah, yeah, I understand not everyone loves Grieves, but I think he has some great tracks. Some not so great ones, yeah, but Bloody Poetry, Lightspeed, and On the Rocks are some great ones.

But a big hell yes to Doomtree, Eyedea and Abilities (pours some out) and Aesop Rock. I just discovered Cecil Otter the a few weeks ago, absolutely amazing. P.O.S. is sort of hit or miss for me too.

I'll have to check out the others.

Oh, let's throw Sadistik into the mix while we're at it.

Is there a good subreddit for this type of music? I need some new stuff.

[–]Paladinlost 3 points4 points ago

Check Dessa. She's an acquired taste, until she spits something so out of left field it blows your mind. Her bars on "Little Mercy" and "The Grand Experiment" are amazing, and solo-wise, just let "551" wash over you. Grieves just drifts too hard into emo poetry jam for my taste. Sadistik is solid. Eyedea is ridiculous (imagine if Eminem got even more depressed and verbose...yeah, it's like that). What's sad is that I like the Stef that nobody else likes...the really moody (The Kill In Me, POS is ruining my life....)

Let me give you the starter kit: Dessa: 551 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3osU6IOh0Ek Children's Work - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSxSCv7Cegc The Chaconne - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8dt8mY2WiQ

Sims: Burn It Down: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_x6M3UXq9M One Dimensional Man: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdUkj8Pb624 No Homeowners: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFzCBzWlDnA

POS: Lonely Hearts Club: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTUbCuS93IU POS Is Ruining My Life: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7UFQaDoS9o Duct Tape: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8cKUvJPzao

Mike Mictlan: Prizefight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDel4Dl-_F8 Game Over: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boFsSKwCwEU The Grand Experiment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTQUGB2sSYc

Cecil Otter: Little Mercy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_uxsmkZ0pM A Rickety Bridge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTu2itK6CDU A Hundred Fathers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsi_QS1kHys

Well, that's doomtree. If anyone wants some recommended tracks for the rest...

[–]zedoriah 1 point2 points ago

I know we've only been commenting together for a little while, and I know it's soon, but I just have to tell you that I love you.

Seriously, good stuff there man. Dessa might take a while for me to enjoy, the rest I'm digging so far. Thanks for the good stuff!

[–]foyboy -1 points0 points ago

The song is called "I Can"

[–]SmartViking[S] 18 points19 points ago

I completely agree with you! I still think the image is funny though :)

[–]meltedlaundry 9 points10 points ago

Tell that to my piano...jerk.

[–]mage2k 2 points3 points ago

Would have been even better with an ATM screen on it.

[–]pcahnteh 0 points1 point ago

I've always called it Rap-hop. It's still rapping, but with Casiotone-like music added.

[–]ExpectTheUnexpected 1 point2 points ago

The main string melody in Believe Me is a Garage Band loop. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just saying.

[–]y2kh8r 1 point2 points ago

I was thinking that a lot of older rap was sample based- lots of James Brown samples.

[–]Mattyice318 5 points6 points ago

I think a lot of Fort Minor songs would count

[–]ThatSleepyGuy 1 point2 points ago

NO FUN ALLOWED.

[–]Anonymous7k 3 points4 points ago

I love feather such a good song!

[–]hillbillyesq 0 points1 point ago

Also, one of my favorite rap and piano combos:

Timbaland and Elton John - Two Man Show

[–]Dmac_rocker 0 points1 point ago

Except Kanye samples the piano while the piano in the Outkast song is original....

[–]ConfidenceMan2 -2 points-1 points ago

Umm. Country is most definitely lyrically based. Honestly, I think the two genres have way more in common than people realize. They both feature fairly rigid song structure, both concentrate heavily on lyrics, and both have their roots in lower class/lower income America. Basically, one is poor black people and one is poor white people. Personally, they are my two favorite genres.

[–]Tashre 6 points7 points ago

They're similar, for sure, but the actual music plays a much larger role (relatively speaking) in defining Country than it does Rap. Put Rap lyrics over some Beethoven, some techno, even some stereotypical Country tune, and it'll generally get labeled "Rap", whereas Country often tends to be at this kind of civil war over what artists are considered Country artists and which are "too" Pop or "too" Rock.

[–]Ryan1014 -1 points0 points ago

Mother of God... They've combined the two

KILL IT WITH FIRE!

[–]malenkylizards 2 points3 points ago

You must be one of those "I like ALL music except country and rap" folks.

[–]Ryan1014 0 points1 point ago

I mostly listen to rock, and a little bit of metal. The accent and lyrics pretty much kills country and rap for me. I don't really want to listen to a song about banging lots of women in the club, a song about pickup trucks and beer, or god forbid another country breakup song. But that's just me.

The thing I've learned from my sister's sound pollution is that the country music trend for 2012 is skinny dipping...

[–]Oogity_Boogity_Boo 2 points3 points ago

I know some people just don't get enjoyment from listening to certain genres, and that's fine, but there's a ton of rap about lots of different topics and from different perspectives on life. There's a lot of good country out there as well, but I'm not as big of a country fan as I am a rap fan.

That being said, some people just don't find it enjoyable enough to justify digging around for stuff they might like, so I totally get it. If your main problem with rap is that you think all songs are about sex and clubs, there's a lot out there that you might dig.

[–]malenkylizards 4 points5 points ago

I don't understand!!! All ten of the songs I'VE ever heard were about sex, guns and weed! How many rap songs ARE there?

[–]BarryLincoln 0 points1 point ago

Did you just intentionally search for a country/rap song so you could do the "Mother of God... Kill it with fire" thing?

[–]Fortehlulz33 -2 points-1 points ago

Even though it's not the backing track, this Wiz Khalifa track is better prefaced with the piano.

[–]aG_Infamous 60 points61 points ago

In this thread;

People who only hear pop rap on the radio judging an entire genre based on what pitbull does

[–]trixter21992251 19 points20 points ago

lol no,, I herd enimem 2

[–]SanchoDeLaRuse 2 points3 points ago

Ohhh!

So THAT'S what Pitbull does.

I thought it was some sort of newage scat because it's incoherent and sounds like shit.

[–]aG_Infamous 0 points1 point ago

Well, it is, but for some reason he gets catargorized as rap because he doesn't sing

[–]DevTech 0 points1 point ago

Yep pretty much.

[–]Strong__Belwas 25 points26 points ago

The neckbeards are out in full swarm today.

[–]Toka313 3 points4 points ago

Not if you're the Biz Markie!

[–]iTrolling 13 points14 points ago

I'm probably taking this joke a little too personal, but being a producer myself, it bothers me that many people undermine the music quality of rap/hip-hop. Over the years, the sounds have evolved tremendously and while I'm not the most musically talented producer, I do take pride in my work.

You can listen to this if you want as a small example; I produced it myself.

[–]Letter_10 1 point2 points ago

Saving for later so I can listen. I'm an MC who self-produces & use a lot of different music in my work, 99.9% sample-free. Some of my own stuff for anyone interested.

I get the joke here & it is funny but it kind of stings a tiny bit. I've heard worse things said about Hip Hop.
"Rap music? More like CRAP music"

[–]pockoots 1 point2 points ago

not a 'hiphop' beat per se but this would sound nice on a max payne menu

[–]poon-is-food 0 points1 point ago

you are taking it too personally, almost like you subconsciously know it needs to be defended by you, rather that defending itself...

The "you can be a successful guitarist with only 3 chords" joke is long running, but not taken to heart. its all just a joke, chill.

[–]lethargicwalrus 26 points27 points ago

Going to sound really elitist and/or cliche here, but I really disagree with this post due to its ignorant assumption that mainstream rap=all rap. Also, this.

[–]MassiveBastard 12 points13 points ago

Even mainstream can have a good piano section, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elVF7oG0pQs

[–]LivingNewt 0 points1 point ago

It's definitely up there.

I wanted more Forrest in my life, so just looked for films he was in, was totally shocked by how good that film was.

[–]undearius 0 points1 point ago

We analyzed this movie in my Film Studies class. Crazy to realize all the little things the director put into it. Film reflexivity and Semantics are the topics we focused on about the movie if you wish to look those up.

[–]draven844 -1 points0 points ago

I've yet to find the importance of the volume he always set the radio to, 21 if I recall correctly. Did you guys ever figure that one out?

[–]undearius 0 points1 point ago

I just checked my notes but unfortunately didn't see anything. I do remember somebody mentioning the radio but that was three months ago, so I can't remember exactly what it was.

Smoke On The Water riff: Four chords

[–]Trucoto 9 points10 points ago

Can't be done with that piano. Even if you forget about the fifths.

[–]Tatatee 2 points3 points ago

Nigga rhymes with Nigga.

[–]BlakeFromFinance 2 points3 points ago

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Huvym4GZp1k I think that is why this song got so big.

[–]qasman 1 point2 points ago

Look, people need to really get off their fucking high horse. Next time you try going hard in the paint, just remember this song, and see how much easier it is. Don't go talking about shit you don't know about.

[–]xHypnoToad -1 points0 points ago

How the fuck does this song have so many likes ?

[–]Scrotum_Phillips 1 point2 points ago

To be honest, Waka rhymes stankin with thinkin; not necessarily nigga with nigga.

[–]BlakeFromFinance -1 points0 points ago

I mean even that rhyme is pretty forced. Either way, it doesn't have great structure.

[–]hate_is_beautiful 0 points1 point ago

Here is a song that repeats the three same words, often rhyming them with themselves. And it's Fantastic. (Lyrics)

Rhyming is pretty complex. It's not always just about the last syllable in a line, or even the last word in a line. You can see the erratic rhyme scheme all throughout the Consequence song I linked. Sometimes it's internal, sometimes it's perfect, sometimes it's only slant, but it all comes together to keep with the "The Good, The Bad, And the Ugly" theme.

You can even see this in that Wocka song. Yeah, the dude Uses Nigga at the end of every line, but it's not always the last word that's meant to rhyme.

[–]SheddingKing -2 points-1 points ago

Nigga x7

[–]NathanYAfag 0 points1 point ago

Ever heard of changes?

[–]SnizzPants 0 points1 point ago

People posting songs that use more than three keys aren't proving a damn thing. I say this rings pretty true as a generalization. There are always exceptions to a rule.

[–]cesarjulius -1 points0 points ago

What rings true? The rule is stuff that at least requires a full octave and has some type of chord changes/progression, and the exception is the super-simple/idiotic trash. You couldn't find more than three songs that are as basic as what you're describing.

[–]TheBassThatAteMiami 2 points3 points ago

Lol

0/10 OP

[–]redditor3000 1 point2 points ago

I don't see any drum or bass on that piano

[–]Lord_Bumberchute 2 points3 points ago

They dropped the bass on the way over.

[–]spautless -1 points0 points ago

You're listening to the wrong rap

There are many extremely talented producers out there; find them and stop claiming the bullshit you watch on MTV represents "rap".

[–]crecentfresh 0 points1 point ago

Blue Scholars are the shiiiiit! That having been said I still see the humor in the piano thing.

[–]TheBreadnaught 0 points1 point ago

I like that it comes with a stand for your swagg.

[–]Bortjort 2 points3 points ago

No stand can contain my swag

[–]NeoTranshuman 0 points1 point ago

I thought it was a safe with a musical lock..

[–]Nightmathzombie -1 points0 points ago

Digital Underground: Freaks of the industry

It's later on in the song but there's some good piano work in this one... I'm ashamed to admit there's another one on sex packets that has better piano work but I'm drawing a blank.

[–]y2kh8r 1 point2 points ago

The new jazz?

[–]DimensionalQuake 1 point2 points ago

If you hit the keys in consecutive order, you'd here the notes from "ladda dadda da", as in "ladda dadda da, It's the muthafuckin D O double g". Guess the guy is right.

[–]mannpt 0 points1 point ago

Can anyone explain the musical repercussions of this post?

[–]Dannyg4821 1 point2 points ago

[–]everttt -1 points0 points ago

[–]Burdenofbruce -1 points0 points ago

I think you mean 69

[–]PKMKII 0 points1 point ago

Just play the black keys on a piano. Minor Pentatonic scale in E flat (or the Major Pentatonic in F sharp).

[–]doublemahler 0 points1 point ago

Hmm this piano needed like an octave and a half. But I guess Kanye is a little different?

[–]nexxusoftheuniverse -1 points0 points ago

SO WHAT WE GET DRUUUNK

[–]shattasma 0 points1 point ago

[–]THC_arsonist 0 points1 point ago

Snap yo fingas!

[–]ZeeMoe 0 points1 point ago

Read this as Piano for Fap. Was disappointed.

[–]TalkingBackAgain 0 points1 point ago

Rap has never needed more keys on a piano anyway.

This is some smart construction. I bet these things sell like hot cakes.

[–]meh89 1 point2 points ago

I think you're thinking of a piano for club music. Something like this? http://imgur.com/PqsDo

[–]Ash29k 0 points1 point ago

[–]eagledick 0 points1 point ago

Theres no G, therefore you can't play any Snoopdog.

[–]meefjones -5 points-4 points ago

Haha, right!? Those dumb ni-I mean rappers! Why don't they learn to play real instruments, like tambourines?!

[–]MexicanRommel 3 points4 points ago

You know, the stuff that like, that white people like. Where's the keyboards, and the tambourines?

[–]DoubtOfAShadow 1 point2 points ago

They would actually make these pianos for small fishing vessels in case any mutant, man-eating sharks were nearby

[–]ophello 0 points1 point ago
