Why? Save for a few tourist attractions, the vast majority of people regard it as a shithole. Hence it being the lowest populated state in the US despite being the 10th largest in land area.

You may like Wyoming if: You hate people. You're a far right nutjob/teapartier. You love geology/paleontology (the only viable reason to, for me). You enjoy a staggeringly high juggalo population. You love wind (you don't know cold until you've experienced -70F windchill).

Actually I dont like Wyoming for any of those reasons, weird. Try listing clean air, no traffic, friendly people almost wherever you go, can leave your doors unlocked and let your kids play outside without fear of creepers, mountains 15 minutes away from my house that never have anyone around them, awesome skiing, awesome rock climbing, awesome mountain biking, some of the best snowmobiling in the lower 48, open spaces, neighbors are blocks away instead of feet away, barely any crime, no gangs, beautiful scenery, no hot weather, laid back atmosphere, etc...

I like Obama...Im not a geologist/paleontologist...never have known of or met any Juggalos in the 25 years Ive lived here...Its not all that windy where I live...I enjoy people just not huge crowds or traffic...Seems your argument isnt valid. Sure there are some crappy areas but what state doesnt have shitty parts?

I have driven through Wyoming several times. There is absolutely nothing there. It's the only time I have ever gotten car sick. Wyoming's only redeeming quality is that if you drive far enough and long enough it eventually ends.

This happens in Saskatchewan a lot. Oddly enough, whenever it happens it gets warm, very very briefly, then cold enough to cause your balls to migrate to South America. I think it's nature's way of reminding you that life is beautiful, then telling you that she doesn't give a fuck if it is beautiful or not, she's gonna kill most of it.

Gorgeous when it occurs, though.

I have seen that many times in colorado. Cold air, flat ice crystals in the air, night time. The light hits the flat mirrors of the crystals and bounces straight up (or something like that). It is one of my very favorite weather types. My dad and i call them "spears".

There are several kinds of atmosheric phenomena related to ice crystals, since crystals can be various shapes and oriented differently (as opposed to water droplets which can't). The moon bow and sun dogs are other ice crystal phenomena. I once got a book from the library, sorry, can't remember the title, that was all about different phenomena. It had some great pictures.

So I just read down, and I'm really surprised to see all of the comments regarding liking or hating Wyoming. I was born and raised (for 8 years at least) in Jackson. As the daughter of a promenant family in the town, I guess I had a shielded or sheltered view, because Jackson was always a magical place for me. A little sheltered town in the middle of these noble mountains. I moved to Arizona for 7 years, and when I finally moved back to Wyoming, my family was too poor to live in Jackson, so we lived in Etna. (Star Valley) where there was nothing. Literally, a highway with some shit built up on the sides. So I've seen both sides of the coin, but I'm still shocked to see people 'hating' Wyoming. I dunno. Little late night rant.
