I always brought Liara, cause she was cute and had a nice ass, but Garrus man, you can't leave Garrus behind. Garrus was my bro, he was there for me whenever I needed him, he covered me with his assault rifle and sniper, he always knew the direct course of action to take to get results, but even if he disagreed he would still follow me into battle. He was happy to chat whenever I wanted, we could talk about the mission or just reminisce about old times on Omega.

Garrus was the ultimate wing man, if they had put the gay romance option in ME3 in as him, I would have had a tough time picking between him and Liara.

Garrus and Wrex. The bro-est bros in the space. Kaidan was on the top with Garrus on my brolist, but that damned mission during ME2 made him drop :(

Also I like James from ME3. He ain't talking much, but the guy's just cool.

I remember a fight where a brute almost killed me... Then I saw James meleeing the brute to death + Garrus sniping it. /mantear

I remember people complaining about Javik... That guy is crazy/funny as hell man. I always take him with me just to listen to his comments.

I also liked Legion/Thane. They were kinda unique and special. Samurai mode /followyoutilldeath. Too bad for them in ME3 :|

Pretty much every male squad member in ME is good. ( Forgot to mention Jacob, he was cool too. He was like a black Kaidan )

I have no opinion about Grunt. But he is brolike in ME3. Zaeed annoyed me a bit... But hey the guy's an old veteran so no wonder he won't obey me easily.

Kaidan was always my favorite because his name sounds exactly like mine and is spelled almost exactly the same, but I let him die in ME1 because Ashley was hot (for ME1 standards) and also because I was dating a girl with the same name at the time. It was awkward because we had just broken up when I met Ashley Williams in ME2, so I was a total dick to her in game.

In ME1 I was torn between Garrus, Wrex, and Tali. Wrex was my main man. I really hated the human allies in ME1. Also the fact theres no Krogan in ME3 is disappointing.

My Garrus died in ME2. He was my equal favorite companion, I got a little emotional but refused to reload a save. You gotta live with your decisions, and that is what I got for thinking Jax would deliver for me despite my lack of understanding and tact regarding her many issues. He was on my mind a fair bit through ME3 aswell, what we would do and what I would have said to him. RIP Garrus Vakarian.

I didn't let him get off the ship so he lived, I took all the people I hated and laughed so hard when Tali took a rocket in the face, I never got ME3 though so I guess my actions won't have any consequences.

I don't understand how anyone made the wrong choices. From my play through I got everything perfect because it all just made sense.

That's the worst thing! Samara was my second closest companion, but I felt conflicted endangering her in any way as she and my Shepard had a romantic relationship only held back by the demands put on us by our various responsibilities. Finding out afterward the fact that she was loyal, putting her as the shield would have saved Harris (my only companion to die in ME2) was interesting and sad. Sometimes its the stories you bring to or read into games that can make them great.

People can say what they want about ME3. It let me take Garrus out on one last big adventure, and for that it's one of my favourite games.

Plus, it vindicated my choice of Ash over Tali. Garrus/Tali is a much better match.

It's from Mass Effect. The character is a fan favorite named Garrus. In Mass Effect 2 he spends pretty much the entire game (when not on missions) working on the weapon systems of the space ship that you all fly around on. When the protagonist tries to talk to him, but not enough time has passed since their last conversation Garrus says "Can it wait? I'm in the middle of some calibrations."
