Dare I say they're actually mildly difficult to not take damage from now. In the original HL they were easy to kill before their sonic blasts (or whatever they are) went off, but now I'm lucky if I can do that.

Agreed, they fuck me up now, especially when all of a sudden like 5 come after you and there are explosive crates around...You can't see to shoot, and the barrels and crates are blowing up around you...its awesome...

Yeah definitely do a little bit more damage this time around. And I love the green acidy effect it leaves on your hands and weapon. The animation also looks kinda weird to me when he brings the revolver up to aim down the sights, but I really don't give a shit because this game is so awesome and there's so much I love.... they did such a great job so far.
