whenever i see this photo i cant help but see right through its cute on the surface facade and the painful truth of it is just too obvious. both these creatures just lost their families and their "pack" for lack of a better word. i dont know how much animals sense around them, but im pretty sure most animals understand that when everyone you know dies around you, then you are probably feeling pretty scared. both these critters just lost everything and face a very uncertain future. hopefully they got released back into the wild and didnt end up in some west texas rich assholes managerie just to be neglected or some shit.

What a bunch of cynical bullshit. You seriously mean to tell me that you've never witnessed complete strangers coming together to help each other out in the face of hardship? I was a teenager when Katrina hit New Orleans, and countless families in my community reached out to the families uprooted from their homes that ended up in our area, ranging from supporting them financially all the way to letting them stay in their houses until they could get back up on their feet. You looked at a picture of two cute little animals from different species cuddling and decided to make a depressing (and not anywhere near entirely true) remark about the state of humanity.
