Oh, but Islam is a religion of peace. After all, if you kill everyone who disagrees with you, then you'd have peace and quiet.

Based on the size of those mushroom clouds pretty much everybody is going to have a bad time. Just the dust kicked up in the atmosphere would be a global ecological disaster, not to mention radioactive fallout and C-14 generation through neutron-proton knockout reactions with the air's nitrogen.

More than that were killed in the attack. 3 other Americans were killed. Though, by our media's standards, non-Americans don't count as real people.

Please stop shilling out this Islamophobic bullshit. You do yourselves a disservice. At one point in history, Islam was the backbone of so many advances in scientific research, but the age of caliphs was cut short by Western imperialism. I wonder how better off the Middle East would be if the British Empire hadn't stuck their dirty fingers into it. And the damage that was done back then is only exacerbated by Murkah's vain attempts at nation building.

This subreddit makes me ashamed to be an atheist. I can understand dismay at the state of the Middle East today, more so than understand, but you have to keep in mind what brought it to what it's become. Take Christianity's effect on Native Americans for example, see what sort of horrible practices became ingrained in their cultural identity, and then replace Christianity with Western Imperialism and Native Americans with Muslims.

If you can't see where I'm coming from, simply let me know and I'll stop bothering.

I don't think these guys really understand the situation. The last 11 years of fighting and killing...That was the US being patient and kind in battle. Maybe these guys should go talk to Japan before they decide to continue these actions.

A lot of us didn't even want to waste troops and thought it would be more efficient to make a nice glass parking lot.
