You can visit but if you want to live past the 3 months given by the EU freedom of movement and work (or what-it's called) you'll have to have a job and apply for all sorts of things. But that said, aye, one of the reasons we didn't want to join the EU. Not that the "yes to EU side" has gotten any bigger with the EUs lately economic situation...

Seriously though, I've always considered Norway to be as close to paradise as I can imagine. A progressive, liberal-democracy, with beautiful women and beautiful countryside. I wouldn't even mind the dark, damp, and chilly winters.

Hehe... I actually know a couple of Canadians living here (current and former exchange students). In general it seems Canadians are quite accepted (almost strange, eh?) compared to Americans or Europeans.

And I've always wanted to visit Canada. If not for being a poor student; deal.

There's no provisions for work immigration afaik. Either become a fugitive or marry some Norwegian girl, if you can bear the idea.
