Yeahhhhh.....Hmmmmm.....Sooooo.......How would you rate this foreign policy? This is the head line from freebeacon "REPORTS: No Live Ammo for Marines" and this slightly smaller headline for the same story "Marine blogs say U.S. embassy did not authorize service members to carry ammo" Here's the link : http://freebeacon.com/reports-marines-not-permitted-live-ammo/

freebeacon is a ridiculously slanted source

[–]mytwosence 0 points1 point ago

That doesn't make it any less true.

I'm not even sure what larger point your'e trying to make about Mitt Romney, but I'm not taking your word on any "head line" from some joke of a source

[–]mytwosence 0 points1 point ago

Well, first I never wrote anything about Mitt Romney and I asked a simple question....and hell I'll ask it again. How would you rate a foreign policy that doesn't let Marines have live ammo. Would that be A. A good policy or B. A bad policy? I'm sure you already know the answer. (Hint : It's NOT A. Policy) It must be real easy to just ignore it in your world?

[–]Brettster[S] 0 points1 point ago

I reject the premise because I highly doubt it paints the whole picture. Any particular embassy's rule regarding live ammo is sufficient to judge an entire foreign policy of a President? Does everything break down into A) good or B) bad? That's like kindergarten thinking. The world is a bit more complicated than that, buddy.

You reject the premise? Why? Is it so far out of the realm of possibilities that it could not happen? OK I'll ask it another way. What good is an unarmed Marine? Let me paint you that whole picture...100's of people attacking you with guns and rockets and all you have is an empty weapon....would that be a good policy or a bad policy? (Hint : American's died) and btw here's a new headline for you from Time . com "What’s Worse: No Marines, or (Possibly) Unarmed Marines?" Here's the link : http://nation.time.com/2012/09/13/whats-worse-no-marines-or-possibly-unarmed-marines/
