korean riot cops are allowed to beat the shit out of rioters

[–]DollarsThanSense 165 points166 points ago

South? I mean I can't imagine a videocamera being in the North, but still this kind of looks like he was trying to chop his head off, or at least crush his important neck things.

[–]Domian 458 points459 points ago

There are no riots in North Korea, of course. Silly American!

[–]late_night_tacobell 148 points149 points ago

Just synchronized walking. Looooooots of synchronized walking.

[–]MisterCuddles 78 points79 points ago

[–]vVvMaze 236 points237 points ago

North Korea may have funk but they don't... ( •_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) have Seoul

[–]Lochcelious 77 points78 points ago

Ok, you deserve it. At the risk of down votes: YYYEEEEEEAAAAHHH!!

[–]ShakesBabiesToo 18 points19 points ago

That's the top fucking comment from the video posted two comments up!

[–]KraziEyez 8 points9 points ago

You dont get downvotes when you do it for someone else.

[–]Bass2Mouth 10 points11 points ago

Literally the best youtube comment I've ever seen.

[–]ImTheGuyWhoLoveGems 13 points14 points ago

I can now go to job with a big smile on my face.

[–]CaiserZero 26 points27 points ago

You have now been banned from /r/pyongyang

[–]neurosin 3 points4 points ago

If there is a post about Korea, this comment is getting upvotes. No on is tired of the unoriginality of this yet?

[–]Khalexus 1 point2 points ago

Really? If anything it makes NKorea look like a more fun and exciting place...

[–]GiPes 2 points3 points ago

I had seen only the "Party Rock Anathem" version.

[–]Khalexus 0 points1 point ago

They've really got a bit of a bounce and spring in their goose-stepping, don't they? And that video was amazing.

[–]PureMDC 0 points1 point ago

That is awesome but it bugs me that their steps are not quite matched up with the beat.

[–]davidk23 0 points1 point ago

I lol'd

[–]MikeTheSpike 10 points11 points ago

Don't forget the synchronized crying.

[–]BoxSquid 0 points1 point ago

And food. Plenty of food.

[–]Jafit 65 points66 points ago

WHY WOULD HAPPY CONTENT WORKERS OF NORTH KOREAN SOCIALIST PARADISE COME TO THE STREETS TO RIOT LIKE FILTHY CAPITALIST SLAVES? EMBRACE THE JUCHE WAY AND YOU TOO MAY LIVE HAPPY AND FREE.

PRAISE TO OUR DEAR LEADER KIM JONG UN AND ETERNAL PRESIDENT KIM IL SUNG!

[–]queenbrewer 14 points15 points ago

One interesting thing most people aren't aware of: the Juche philosophy is only designed for Koreans. While the North would love to conquer South Korea and impose Juche, they do not want the rest of the world to adopt it.

[–]ChargerCarl 4 points5 points ago

juche thought doesn't really exist. its a sham doctrine made to be praised so kim il sung could compete with the cult of mao. nobody in NK can even tell you what its about.

[–]Jafit 5 points6 points ago

Seems to have worked then.

[–]PulseAmplification 32 points33 points ago

ARR HAIR THE DEAR READER

[–]vbullinger 2 points3 points ago

Well, I thought of it, so I had to make a picture of it:

[–]DollarsThanSense 8 points9 points ago

Well, what would there be to riot about in paradise?

[–]running_to_the_hills 9 points10 points ago

Maybe the people of the great Korea are annoyed that our Glorious Leader is too selfless in putting his people and country before his own needs, they are urging our Glorious Leader to take a break from devoting all of his time to his country, what a great leader we are blessed with, bless Dear Leader.

[–]wickedang3l 3 points4 points ago

Rioting requires spare calories to burn.

[–]vbullinger 0 points1 point ago

Almost like that was the plan all along: get people to worry about putting food on the table instead of their rights...

Protests are like a war-zone in South Korea.

[–]tosler 7 points8 points ago

Did you see the training video? Holy fuck.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbFSVh1mmiw&feature=related

[–]ReallyAViolinist 1 point2 points ago

In the beginning when they were in the short line, I was like, "GO AROUND!!!!"

[–]makejuice 0 points1 point ago

I actually yelled out at one point during this video, "Holy shit, is that guy on fire!?" This kind of training is intense to say the least.

[–]anonymousalterego 0 points1 point ago

I think that video is actually mis-titled. That's the Starcraft training program.

[–]pooprscooper 0 points1 point ago

It's like Shogun II. Nice.

[–]tootchute 2 points3 points ago

Jesus that's intense!

[–]moneyeagle 0 points1 point ago

acctualy in this video you can nicely see that the shields have a handle at the top. They are ment to be used like in that gif

[–]makejuice 0 points1 point ago

Any idea what they were rioting about? I have no idea what they were chanting. At one point it looked like the riot police were taunting the mob, but I really couldn't tell.

edit: grammarz

[–]theodrixx 0 points1 point ago

We take that shit serious.

Jokes aside, it's kind of a problem.

[–]heh_wut 0 points1 point ago

if you watch that video, you actually see that the police are only attacking people who are a threat to them

oh and they don't seem to be shooting by-standers either.

[–]philonius 18 points19 points ago

Whoa there, Dr. Technical, slow down and let the laymen catch up.

South korea has been historically more tyrannical and corrupt then the north. There's a lot of little know history, pr, and brain washing that goes on in the south to make them believe they are somehow better than the north, when even to this day they have the national security law in place, wiretap and spy on phones/ip addresses, and didn't even have their first democratic elections till 1993, and even then there were accusations of rigging.

[–]Going_Braindead 9 points10 points ago

This kills the rioter

[–]lemmereddit 7 points8 points ago

That was a cheap shot.

[–]soulstonedomg 4 points5 points ago

[–]Yarddogkodabear 0 points1 point ago

source? I don't believe that.

[–]noxious1 467 points468 points ago

Oh jeez, this brings back some pretty bad memories. South Korea is pretty much civilized now, but for many decades after WW2 it was basically just another repressive military dictatorship dressed up in the superficial trappings of "democracy".

I know this scene. That protestor you see there was holding a banner, not a spear. He was standing there in defiance, trying to stare down the cops. He was not attacking the cops, but they broke his neck anyway. Stuff like this was the norm, not the exception.

Another disturbing scene I remember was a literal pile of protestors, dead or unconscious, stacked as high as a man. The riot police were just continually whaling away at this unmoving pile of people, whacking with their clubs and chopping away using the edges of their riot shields. It was nothing more than senseless cruelty.

Fuck, I don't want to think about this anymore.

[–]Raneados 118 points119 points ago

D:

Did this dude die from the neck break?

edit; he apparently didn't die during the gif, maybe didn't even break his neck. After a bit of looking around, his left arm goes into the Fencing Response. I don't think you can go into it if your neck's broken, or if you've been killed. It follows a concussion.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fencing_response

[–]meangrampa 62 points63 points ago

That means he was unconscious before he hit the ground. That still could have killed him as it's an autonomic response. It shows injury to the brain stem and he could have been dead before he hit the ground. A punch to the throat can kill so a chop with that shield could do that as well if the one wielding it put enough force behind it. To me it looks like he did and that was his intention. We need more context.

Could someone translate that text?

[–]dl_usf 24 points25 points ago

It roughly translates to exactly what you see.."He was suddenly attacked and hit in the neck by the riot police" not exact but pretty close.

[–]meangrampa 5 points6 points ago

I was hoping it's give a clue as to a source. A date anything. Thanks.

[–]Raneados 5 points6 points ago

Agreed, the article is in some decent science speak.

The arms hold their position and slowly relax, so wouldn't this mean that a continuous signal needs to be sent to the arms to "relax" them slowly? Therefore the spinal cord can't be too terribly damaged, and the guy can't be dead while it's going on, otherwise he'd just limp up quickly, right?

He could certainly have died very soon after the gif ends. But it's amazingly hard to find the source of this video.

Yo Korean speakers what up with these words.

Collapsing the trachea isn't an instant death, though? (citation needed) It's a choking death? I'm sure you can break the neck from the front, though. Plus If his airway was collapsed AND he was unconscious, then it's possible for that to explain the Response.

[–]FizzyWizzy 19 points20 points ago

Short answer ... no.

Think of it this way - the natural tendency of living muscle is to remain somewhat contracted. It is the result of the basic structure of muscles and it is in that state that they are most stable. Often times, the predominant "signal" from the brain is to relax these muscles to help with coordination.

Once the person dies ... then the muscles simply fail, there is no energy to maintain the structure, and they generally go limp. That is why at the beginning of a brain injury, flexion may occur but when death occurs hypotonia takes over.

Have you ever seen someone with brain injury? They often have flexed upper arms and severe scoliosis (curvature of the back). That is because their muscles are in a permanently contracted state, and eventually one side "wins". The biceps beat the triceps. The hamstrings usually beat the quads. As for the back, it can go either way to end up with a permanent flex to the right or left, or both causing an S-type curvature.

Sorry to explain it in such layman terms, but part of my job is to "dumb" this stuff down when I talk to parents.

[–]Birdie_Num_Num 8 points9 points ago

No no don't apologise, we're big enough to handle it. Also, could you maybe dumb down 'flexion' and 'hypotonia' as well. You know, for the real thickos...

[–]calamormine 8 points9 points ago

Yeah, whoever those guys are...

[–]ghostface134 3 points4 points ago

[–]confuseray 2 points3 points ago

wait, I thought ATP was only needed to reset the crosslinks; the contraction itself is just the potential energy from the crosslinks releasing.

[–]badseedjr 1 point2 points ago

How do the hamstrings beat the quads? The quads are the largest muscles in your body. Hamstrings can't generate half the power quads can.

[–]meangrampa 4 points5 points ago

The response of his arm going limp like that could mean a broken brain stem. The relaxing after extension is that the signal had stopped. The impact caused the fencing response and it isn't a signal from the brain. The fencing response can be caused by the severing of the spinal cord or blunt force trauma. There is little info on this even if you do find the video. Governments step on info like this.

A translation would be helpful. But this looks like a snuff flick to me and he died with the impact of that shield. Even if he died later drowning in his own blood. That cop killed him.

[–]CrackersInMyCrack 2 points3 points ago

I believe the video has to be for profit to make it a true snuff flick, does it not? Otherwise it's just a video of someone dying.

[–]Ashmedai 0 points1 point ago

As a bit of medical trivia for you, there are any number of massive traumas that can happen to your spinal region where the damage does not sever the spinal cord, but the swelling later destroys it. I have heard from a source that I trust that such swelling after spinal cord trauma is the majority cause of parapalegia and quadrapalegia.

[–]gbr4rmunchkin 0 points1 point ago

boxers get this

[–]teemarsh422 14 points15 points ago

Good to know.

[–]Grunef 11 points12 points ago

Til about the fencing response. It reminded me about the spine injury erection thing. During a first aid course I heard that if you are getting a drowning victim out of the surf and they have a boner, there is a damn good chance they have a spinal injury.

[–]thebackhand 10 points11 points ago

... Excuse me?

[–]Grunef 10 points11 points ago

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priapism

Priapism (/ˈpraɪəpɪzəm/[1][2]) is a potentially painful medical condition, in which the erect penis or clitoris[3] does not return to its flaccid state, despite the absence of both physical and psychological stimulation, within four hours...

...and neurologic disorders such as spinal cord lesions and spinal cord trauma (priapism has been reported in hanging victims; see death erection)

Well I am glad that wasn't a bullshit story, and also glad I chose Incognito mode for that bit of Googling.

[–]ItsTyrrellYo 3 points4 points ago

You break your spine, then you get a permaboner. Embarrassing.

[–]Cracked_Lucidity 5 points6 points ago

it can happen with a broken neck, as long as the spinal cord is not damaged too severely.

[–]Phrobis-m9 5 points6 points ago

Fencing response with a spinal cord injury is called a priapism.

[–]achisling 5 points6 points ago

A good example of the Fencing Response would be in the 2011 Stanley Cup finals when Aaron Rome of the Vancouver Canucks destroyed Nathan Horton of the Boston Bruins with a blindside hit to the head. Horton went down and the hand went up.

[–]JimmyHavok 38 points39 points ago

I was in Korea for a short time in '89, and had an intense political discussion with a young guy I met in a train station. That was right about the end of the military dictatorship, and he was one fo the kids who were part of bringing it down.

About that time, I read PJ O'Rourke's contemptuous putdown of the Korean democracy activists...I think it was in Rolling Stone. That was the point where I decided that I'd punch his face in if I ever met him.

[–]Pucker_Pot 6 points7 points ago

Have a link to that article?

[–]the-fritz 9 points10 points ago

I saw a video from 2002 (after the dictatorship had ended) and the protesters were carrying and improvised flamethrower. So it seems that all of this fighting really let to an extreme protest culture. But interestingly the police makes a deal with the protesters to leave and in the end they all shake hands...

edit: video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMi7Jkay0fY

[–]mnmalism 4 points5 points ago

the video you rely on shows a batlle between korean cops and korean military special forces. This is maybe an exception, even though korean riots are often way more violent than e.g. in the US. There is whole different protesting culture in (south-east-)asia in which honor plays an important role. Knowingly disgracing your opponent is always a very bad idea: people freak totally out.

[–]Lochsexmonster 1 point2 points ago

I've been here now for a few years but it's always been safe. They do love to protest here though. I am obviously aware of things that have went on in the past, such as the Gwangju incident.

What were you doing here at that time?

[–]jimmystead 7 points8 points ago

As someone who was in Korea for about a year and a half as american military police the rioters can get very violent with no provocation. After a 4 hour protest I was jamming out to one of my favorite Korean protest songs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX3XfCgF0kM and then one of the nonviolent protesters bum rushed my shield and split my lip open. Most of the demonstrations were non violent but maybe 1 in 5 shit would get crazy. The KNP do not fuck around though I have seen them many times when there were too many protesters for us to handle them just open a can of whoop ass.

[–]DancingSchoolChild 0 points1 point ago

Aren't you just describing the details from the movie "300"?

[–]UtterlyDisposable 0 points1 point ago

I keep wanting to tell the guy to rotate his flag pole 90 degrees to deflect the shield. The cop telegraphed the whole thing, he had time, he could have turned the damned pole and ran away but instead he probably died.

I'm disgusted with the cops, of course, but I just wish the guy had thought to do that and possessed the reaction time to pull it off. Peaceful protest does not necessarily mean letting a dickhead riot cop smash your trachea.

[–]Iuseanalogies 0 points1 point ago

Yeah Those Korean cops are brutal they fucking sharpen the bottom of there shields on the ground just to do more damage to the protesters you can even see the cops shield that he used had been sharpened similarly.

[–]Popnickel 56 points57 points ago

holy shit, cant that kill you?

[–]ZuFFuLuZ 70 points71 points ago

It can.

[–]Intolight 19 points20 points ago

[–]Player_Three 51 points52 points ago

Shouldn't the title be how NOT to protest or is it just me?

[–]Face_Like_An_Onion 42 points43 points ago

[–]madnessAndYou 5 points6 points ago

Its a 'fixed' post so he retained the original submissions title.

[–]digitalchris 4 points5 points ago

[–]Eat_Bacon_nomnomnom 3 points4 points ago

[–]bodangren2 3 points4 points ago

Yeah. I was expecting a picture of a guy with an energy drink and his X-Box or something. Now THAT'S how you "not protest."

[–]graepphone 3 points4 points ago

Well the guy didn't really seem to be protesting so...

[–]1337Lulz 3 points4 points ago

Yeah, I'm sure he was just there at the front of a riot handing out hugs.

[–]cshivers 2 points3 points ago

Try to not ever split infinitives.

[–]meowForum 1 point2 points ago

Only if it were in a different language. Other languages (such as Spanish) have a single word for "to <verb>". In English, since it is two words, it is possible to do this. A lot of the pushback comes from linguists who want English to be a more traditional language.

[–]johnnybum 1 point2 points ago

Title should probably be 'How not to deal with protesters.' But there we go.

[–]Lasty 1 point2 points ago

thank you.

[–]gtdp 1 point2 points ago

[–]InvisibleJawa 68 points69 points ago

Should be called: 'How NOT to police.'

[–]Namell 7 points8 points ago

Yes, poster of this one totally missed the point of original.

In original people went lying in front of moving vehicle. It is possible driver simply didn't see them and that is why he drove over them. Original truly did show how no one should protest.

[–]DecievedRTS 10 points11 points ago

I don't see the flag guy breaking any laws from now. Police - 1 flag guy - 0

[–]asian_identifier 15 points16 points ago

[–]TurboActivation 12 points13 points ago

I see the Korean writing; what is this from?

[–]animeman59 47 points48 points ago

From my understanding seeing this video years ago, it's a protest concerning a land grab made by the government. These men are farmers, and they protested selling their land to the government. Sort of like an eminent domain situation. What was the government going to do to the land? I don't know. I'm not even sure what year this was. It wasn't during President Park's era during the 60's and 70's, nor was it Chun's era in the 80's. This protest was much more recent, like after the year 2000.

These situations happen frequently in Korea. The government would grab farm land for various reasons. During the 60's and 70's, it was for the big Chaebols (giant Korean conglomerates) to build factories and office buildings. Keep in mind, most of Korea was an agrarian society after the war, and this was an attempt at forceful modernization. Most of the areas in the capital of Seoul was nothing but farmland, until the government starting building apartments and office space.

Here's an album documenting the modernization of Gangnam. Yes. That Gangnam. The same one from Psy's Gangnam Style song.

These land grabs keep happening, because of a lot of cities want to expand and bring more business. Poorer farmers sometimes welcome these changes, since the government will provide a substantial sum for the land, and maybe a free apartment if one is going to be built on the property. Other times, farmers will not sell their land, because it might have been in the family for many generations, or the co-op of farmers is somewhat successful or profitable.

The times when it gets really nasty is when the Korean government gives land to the U.S. military to expand military bases. The most recent occurrence was the expansion of Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek. The U.S. Army has been considering moving their bases away from the DMZ, and Seoul. The largest U.S. base in Korea is Yongsan Garrison in the capital city, and it's always been considered a prime target for artillery if the North Koreans ever attacked.

So the plan was to move the headquarters of the 8th Army down to Pyeongtaek at Camp Humphreys. One of the problems was that Camp Humphreys was not a large military base to begin with, so an expansion was needed to house the HQ, soldiers, and their families. The other problem was that farmland surrounded the base. So guess what happened? The government was pretty much forcing the farmers to sell. This enraged the farmers. Already there was tension, because farmers there couldn't raise livestock. The military vehicles would cause undue stress to animals living nearby. It also didn't help that Osan Air Base was next door frightening the animals with flight maneuvers. Needless to say, it got very nasty.

This video was supposedly shot in the 2000's. Right around the same time that the base realignments were announced. So I won't be surprised if this protest was related.

Edited: Spelling error. Thanks bodangren2.

[–]eat-your-corn-syrup 0 points1 point ago

Pyeongtaek

this is also where prostitutes protest against the law that made prostitution illegal.

[–]Soggy_Pronoun 0 points1 point ago

I was at Camp Humphrey's when they were talking heavily about the expansion. Anjung-ri right outside of Post was pretty calm, although I did hear of a couple small protests over the year, but nothing crazy. This actually makes it make more sense that there was so much agricultural farmland as opposed to livestock. There was one pig farm right along the fence line (ugh I can still taste the smell running past that thing at PT) and a couple visible cow farms between The Hump and Osan, but what seemed like endless farm land.

I read about this in 'The Art of War', something to the effect of "If appears a line of enemy soldiers is standing in front of you wearing full riot gear, stand nonchalantly within shield striking distance and pretend to get knocked the fuck out...Then when they have forgotten you, rise from behind their ranks and kick em in the nuts"

[–]Jepuliz1 10 points11 points ago

Ahh, the literary mastery of Sun Tzu; "Kick 'em in the nuts."

[–]Uniquitous 2 points3 points ago

That'll turn their strength into weakness!

[–]meangrampa 3 points4 points ago

You need a face and neck shield to be able to live through it first.

[–]Marcob10 1 point2 points ago

I'd imagine that the riot gear would include a cup.

Cups aren't 100% efficient but still dissipate a good amount of force away from the balls.

It's also worth noting that the riot police is almost completely composed of young people serving in the police in lieu of their mandatory military service. They aren't thugs for hire, but they turn out like that within months. Anyone anywhere can turn into the shield guy in the wrong environment. So beware.

They sharpen the edges of their shields.

[–]toxicfingers 7 points8 points ago

First off, South Korean Riot Police aren't allowed to carry guns. And pretty nasty stuff gets thrown at them, such as rocks, bottles, and even Molotovs. They use brute force to keep the rioters down.

Here in the U.S. you would be gunned down immediately for throwing a Molotov.

Second, this clip was featured in a documentary in South Korea about police brutality.

As far as I know, there has not been a single documentary about police brutality that aired on TV in the U.S. What you instead get is COPS.

I was expecting his head to fly off

[–]zeugmatis 4 points5 points ago

I wonder if someone will make a video game where you can play either side of a riot.

[–]Top127 0 points1 point ago

Did I just see someone die?

[–]rockpoodle -1 points0 points ago

No.

[–]PureMDC 0 points1 point ago

Probably. A blow like that is likely to break the Hyoid bone (a small c shaped bone in the neck) which would result in swelling that would pinch the esophagus closed. Also the his head hitting the pavement has potential enough to cause severe internal hemorrhaging. Bleeding in the brain is bad mkay?

[–]Mr_Zero 4 points5 points ago

He puts the mace cop to shame.

[–]timechuck 7 points8 points ago

Gangnam Style!

[–]99CentShrimpCocktail 0 points1 point ago

That looks really fucking painful.

[–]animeman59 3 points4 points ago

Don't ever, EVER fuck with the Korean riot police.

They don't fuck around.

[–]massacre0520 2 points3 points ago

c'mon man, the dude was afk...

[–]article134 1 point2 points ago

Someone please post some context or aftermath please. It's motherfucking 2012. If cops haven't learned by NOW that everything they do is filmed than Wtf? I work security....and one thing that keeps me on my toes is knowing that someone........somewhere......will always be able to see what I've been doing to verify.

[–]dopeboi56 10 points11 points ago

I remember seeing this like 6 years ago and it was old then... Looks like a typical Korean labour protest somewhere downtown Seoul. They often carry flags and poles (not spears) and wear headscarves, etc. These protests get pretty rowdy and they aren't afraid to fight the police. Happens at least once a year somewhere in the country. If I remember correctly, the video also shows the riot cops scraping their shields against the pavement waiting for them to charge the lines...

[–]Theropissed 2 points3 points ago

1) I've seen this before, it's really old maybe early 2000s I think,

2) it's obviously a riot and the guy holds an implement of some kind

[–]NoShameInternets 1 point2 points ago

How NOT to protest.

FTFY. You had the chance to fix it, and you didn't?! For shame.

[–]CASANOVAZ3X -1 points0 points ago

FINISH HIM!!

[–]Jeffro1265 -1 points0 points ago

[–]RyanHMartin 1 point2 points ago

[–]LionEyes -1 points0 points ago

That'll learn him!!

[–]supergai 0 points1 point ago

I laughed really hard at this, and then felt bad because i realized that guy got hurt.

[–]anonymau5 0 points1 point ago

A.C.A.B.

[–]sharked 0 points1 point ago

If there is one thing S.Koreans are good at, it's protesting.....and robots.....and break dancing......I guess I might as well through in Starcraft as well.

[–]Toke_On_420 1 point2 points ago

Any link to the unfixed?

[–]myknucklemadeusleep 0 points1 point ago

My riot shield made you sleep.

[–]kcorapi 0 points1 point ago

right in the throat! is that guy dead?

[–]Litagano 0 points1 point ago

How to NOT use a riot shield

[–]MyNameIsSoLonggggggg 0 points1 point ago

DAYYYYYUMM

[–]madmanmunt 1 point2 points ago

He was immediately the envy of all his friends, 'cuz his windpipe's the crushiest.

[–]BallsackTBaghard 0 points1 point ago

dat upsmash

[–]Ehrler 0 points1 point ago

Some Aragorn shit right there.

[–]Windsworth 0 points1 point ago

How is this [fixed], the original of the person getting run over was far more horrifying than someone getting clocked with a riot shield.

[–]Krescentia 0 points1 point ago

Shield bash!

[–]JuniperVera 2 points3 points ago

Also an appropriate title "How to not be a riot cop."

[–]CheezIts_YAY 0 points1 point ago

Why can't you do this in MW2? I bet that would be a OHK.

[–]Danny_Plainview 0 points1 point ago

how did he protest wrong? that's how someone peacefully protests... the cop is the asshole that should NOT hit unarmed civilians.

[–]jrockwell1222 0 points1 point ago

This has nothing to do with how to protest or not.

[–]ExLegeLibertas 0 points1 point ago

Owwwwwww.

[–]jon34560 0 points1 point ago

This scene doesn't show how not to protest, unless the poor guy wasn't protesting. Perhaps it should have read "How not to protest".

[–]DarthContinent 0 points1 point ago

저항 그만 !!!

[–]CoyoteStark 0 points1 point ago

That's why you always need to keep your head on a swivel. And judging by the damage done to that guy's neck, that should be pretty easy from now on.

[–]sirwatermelon 0 points1 point ago

Titus Pullo reincarnated.

[–]SunChipsSombrero 0 points1 point ago

Shield Slam! You crit for over 5000!

[–]grimamour -1 points0 points ago

This guy for laid the fuck out

[–]Kriicz 1 point2 points ago

And five police rushed on him yelling "STOP RESISTING", tasing him while he's knocked out on the ground by the hit of the shield. True story.

[–]CrimsonKeel 0 points1 point ago

Knocked the fuck out!!

[–]rafman64 0 points1 point ago

This needs " boom headshot ! "

[–]eithanw 0 points1 point ago

Some police officers are completely baffled by compassion huh? I mean honestly, if you think it might kill you, it's probably not a good idea to do it to someone else.
