well sure you could say that I can find every feature I want through a scattered number of phones, but for the majority of the last 4 years of owning an i-device, I have enjoyed using iOS. I would've liked to see the features I want in phone I enjoy. Over the years, my enjoyment of iOS has diminished from lack of features compared to other phones. as for what I would have liked to see from the iPhone, maybe NFC, or customization even remotely close to android, or a phone that isn't just taller, but more stout as well. I would rather have the same aspect ratio with a larger screen than just making it taller. It would be great to have apps be able to do things in the notification center, widgets would be cool, etc. There were many opportunities for Apple to add features that would have satisfied many fans, but they instead decided to go with their usual upgrade of processor and camera. iOS 6 has really disappointed me, it doesn't feel like as big of a step as iOS 5 or 4. Those both added nice new features to the OS, while iOS 6 gets rid of all association with google, gives siri a few more things, and adds a new app to the homescreen.
