I've had a 3GS for about two years now and it's starting to get incredibly slow. I have an upgrade and will probably be getting an iPhone 5. What I don't understand is why people who dislike it have to be so goddamn loud.

Long time Apple hater here. I don't get it, all you motherfuckers get wet every time Apple release a new product and it's mostly nothing special.

Now they release an iPhone 5 that's actually bigger, has much better hardware and such and such, but now all of you guys are saying it's the same, and I for once think it's not.

I'm never going to get the hang of this shit.

I intend to make the 5 my first iphone purchase. I've been a solid carrier of a flip phone sans anything except a text and talk plan since 2003. I enjoy the luxury of a smart phone and am eager to finally have my hands on the tech.

But the upgrade price is essentially 0-50 dollars. If you have the latest iphone, you can probably sell it and buy the new one with a profit. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Hasbro does the same thing. For star wars toys they'll add helmets or change weapons or change armor.

For Nerf they always go from blue/green to orange/yellow to clear.

For GI Joe they mix and match old pieces that they buy from collectors on eBay, re-cast them using the eBay piece, and create new versions.

Whenever something stops selling as well they just rehash it or change the color, call it all new, and then re-sell it.

I switched to android a year back, have used three separate models with three OS's, and while the capabilities are great, every single one of them has been unreliable as hell. Went through 3 droid X's (required constant reboots when they weren't rebooting themselves), droid razr (loved the phone, but had to reboot it any time I wanted to use GPS, again, random reboots), and never ONCE did I have a freeze or reboot on my old iPhone 4.

I don't believe in accepting something on brand strength, but I think I may make the switch back - supporting a single product is much easier than trying to support software on dissimilar hardware.

So apple is putting out new hardware which is 2x as fast will run in 4x3 resolution rather than the insane 3x2 and is giving away iphones 4 for free (if your on a plan) which means better games on the phones because we can phase out the shit hardware, but I guess its a new hat to you
