Jaleel White was kind of a baller, and hung out at UCLA a lot (not sure if he still does). There was an episode where he and Grandmama (played by Larry Johnson) participate in a 2 on 2 tourney and he looked pretty darn good. I can't find the video on Youtube anymore sadly.

He was the main character of a show on tv called Family Matters. Steve Urkel was a lovable nerd, with a high pitched voice and a penchant for cheese.

Its ok, a lot of Americans didn't really watch or know of it either. The show was very peculiar to a certain demographic, but Steve Urkel (a character) tended to be bigger than the show. Kind of like Dustin Hoffman.
