Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission.

If they wont help you, I will try. Open origin, click the "origin" menu then click on application settings. Scroll all the way to the bottom and make sure "Automatically keep Origin up to date" and "automatically keep my games up to date" boxes are checked. Then close origin, (Open task manager and make sure origin.exe and bf3.exe are not running. End task if you have to) Restart origin and possibly download an update. Now open battlelog and see if the web plug-in needs to be updated. (If so, there will be a blue arrow in the top right. If you do install a new web plug-in, right click the exe it downloads and run as administrator to make sure it installs properly) Now try launching the game again. If it fails I would try launching battlelog in a different web browser. I hope this helps!

Have you tried right clicking battlefield in origin and selecting "Repair install" ? I forgot to mention that in my above post.

You should be able to, but that doesn't change reality, where you end up talking to complete idiots who randomly end the chat session and/or fuck up your account/game even more than it already was.

I don't get this. You have one bad interaction with chat support, which was probably caused by a connection issue to fault of the company, and now you hate the company? This is so fucking idiotic. EA is a horrible company but not for stupid shit like this. Some of you guys will find anything to get some karma. Fuck you people are annoying.

I mean honestly. I highly doubt the person he was in chat with clicked disconnect. He probably turned around to ask a question to someone else and the accidentally exited out of the chat or lost connection. Fuck /r/gaming. This circle jerk is too annoying for me.

I often have this problem when I want to join a server. I fix this by going to task manager and end the "BF3.exe" proces. After done this I can always join the server I wanted to join before. So my tip to you is:

Open task manager and check if the "BF3.exe" proces is active, if so, end it and try starting bf3 singleplayer again.

What I do is when the BF3 icon pops up in my task bar, I click on it. Works almost every time.
