I have been apart of reddit for almost 3 years in total and have never heard of r/gifsound. There is also a flaw in your logic. Reddit isn't the only site on the internet that posts funny pictures so it is not likely that every time a repost happens it's because someone found a popular post on another subreddit and posted it into a different subreddit.

There is also this thing called crossposting which is to say a more exact word for what most of the people in /r/funny bitch about. They get irritated that a picture was posted to a completely different subreddit. They think that every person here should be subscribed to every subreddit they are subscribed to.

What you last sentence reeks of is elitism. You are basically saying new members should submit to older members whims just because they have been here longer and have most likely already experienced it.

Why the fuck can't people just skip something they have seen and move onto the next post? Is it rage issues where you feel the need to get pissed off at it everytime? If that's the case, I seriously suggest unsubscribing from /r/funny because every god damn post has someone vomiting the words "REPOTSST". You're going to have a fucking heart attack if you keep coming here and that's the type of thing that pisses you off enough to yell about it.

Another note, crossposting isn't a bad thing. There are 15k members in gifsound compared to 2 mother fucking millions members in funny. That leaves the possibility of almost 2 mother fucking million people not ever seeing this post.

I have spoken my mind and of course it's not the popular opinion around here so you can debate be all you want but a few downvotes won't change the fact that I think it's fucking stupid to yell "repost" unless it was posted to the same "default" subreddit at least within a month.

Your whole argument is now invalid. I never said anything about submitting to older members at all. Maybe you should re-read if you are going to comment on it since the only thing I said was that new members are just being taught how to flooding every sub with the same thing over and over for karma. It is making things less funny and ultimately garbage which then annoys everyone. There was no mention of any elitism nor any social pecking order so don't put words in my mouth in some failed attempt to justify/create whatever point you've already lost.
