Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission.

I love Blood Bowl for the PC, but it plays completely different from MLF. Still love them both though, and would love to see a reboot.

Repeat until QB dies. * Repeat until ALL QBs die. * Win game due to forfeiture. Repeat until Galactic Champion.

It's just not quite the game it used to be. Back when 2K had a competing football game, the two companies went to war to make the best football game they could. Even before that, when 989 studios and others had NFL games, EA/Tiburon routinely put out a good football game.

Now, it's not quite as good as it used to be and it's fallen into the usual EA pitfalls that people don't like. It's not bad, but it's always a pain knowing it could be so much better.

I was all over that game as a kid. the whole cheating system was fucking awesome. I loved having to kill the ref if the other team bribed him

Yes best part of this game was the fields. Nothing like driving a running back into a land-mine, killing him for the entirety of the game. Mutant League Hockey was even better.

My favorite memory of that game was a time when I was playing it on emulator and kept rigging it with save state reloads so that I was playing a 4 star team against the 0 star team in the Mutant Bowl.

Then I went from there to reload state for every play that wasn't either a TD for me or a turnover for them. I went for 2 every single time. The final score was something like 180ish to zero.
