This cow has experienced things that are difficult for us humans to even understand.

It began on a normal weekday. Late in the evening, cow was enjoying his favorite meal. Grass. She had been grazing all day, and had no plans of stopping. The sun had began drifting off into the horizon when a new feeling made the hair on cow's neck stand on end.

A bright flash of light emitted nearby from what looked like a tear in the air itself. A rift in time or space or both. It was beautiful. Cow walked as close as she dared and peered inside. The grass on the other side of the rift seemed truly greener and fresher and more beautiful. It flowed like water and cow was immensely consumed by its appearance.

But the fear that seemed to emit from the rift was just as strong. Before cow could blink an eye, a fellow cow stepped out of the rift and into her world. The new cow began eating away at the grass as if it had never seen or tasted grass in it's life. Cow was perplexed. She walked over to the rift and saw that on the other side it looked identical to her own world, aside from the much more delicious looking grass.

She weighed the decision in her cow mind before choosing to just take one tiny taste and be back on her way. She walked up to the shimmering rip in space and stuck her mouth through and bit into the grass. She had only tastes one blade when the rift snapped shut, taking her mouth with it.

Now cow must live with her decision. She will never taste grass again, and surely will die. She now has learned that, truly, grass isn't always greener on the other side.
