I have a 2006 Scion tC and it gives me the option of sliding the front seats forward and reclined down, allowing me to pretty much sleep in the car, which I have done countless times. Scion calls it "social seating".

I'm 5'11" btw.

http://imgur.com/cMzWQ

[–]jimmystew 1385 points1386 points ago

"social seating" sounds better than "you can bang easier this way"

[–]socatevoli 1105 points1106 points ago

voice over on the stereo system - "fuck mode activated"

[–]FriesWithThat 793 points794 points ago

Which in turn sounds better than "you're homeless and living in a Scion."

[–]cyclura 80 points81 points ago

or "nap-time in your company's underground parking garage during lunch break"

[–]danblee 18 points19 points ago

Close! Nap time in the parking garage (Florida boy here, no underground anything in this swamp).

[–]EukaryoteZ 330 points331 points ago

If you own a Scion are you ever really homeless?

[–]nachoman456 330 points331 points ago

yes

[–]valarmorghulis 58 points59 points ago

Apparently not. So, yeah I guess I'll have to think about getting one.

Viral marketing win for you Scion. ಠ_ಠ

[–]patchbag 56 points57 points ago

Get a $30/month membership to Anytime Fitness and you have 24 hr access to a bathroom and shower. And a gym.

[–]Hummer77x 31 points32 points ago

Fuck the gym part, I kinda wanna do that so after a while the other gym members/employees wonder who the fuck is this guy coming in every day just to take a piss

[–]Relvnt_to_Yr_Intrsts 6 points7 points ago

just drive to the airport. They always have showers, esp in the international terminal. But uh I don't know where you'd park while you're showering.

[–]Nichtmara 9 points10 points ago

Best marketing they ever had was on Frisky Dingo.

[–]feistyfish 4 points5 points ago

the 500 watt stereo is like ka kow but the 17 inch rims are like KA KOW

[–]potatokate 37 points38 points ago

Followed by a drop down disco ball and mini-bar popping out while some smooth jazz starts up. My kind of car!

[–]MAYNARDS_PENIS 52 points53 points ago

brb gonna go buy a scion

[–]that-freakin-guy 56 points57 points ago

The cruel irony of owning a Scion: you don't get laid driving a Scion.

Except the FR-S. That car is all sorts of sexy.

[–]LilBukkitBean 162 points163 points ago

Oddly enough, my ex girlfriend and I have had plenty of sex in her Scion. She sure gets laid driving a Scion. It helps that I am a short woman and she is much taller, but I usually end up on top.

[–]explains_his_upvotes 387 points388 points ago

Upvoted for unexpected lesbianism.

[–]danblee 129 points130 points ago

Upvoted for finding the one demographic that gets laid in a scion.

[–]turdodine 23 points24 points ago

the scissoring would ruin the upholstery

[–]50shadesofGandalf 28 points29 points ago

Go on....

[–]ctjwa 55 points56 points ago

[–]CthuluVoIP 49 points50 points ago

I have an '08 TC and have never seen the seats do this... I should read my owner's manual.

[–]illegible 102 points103 points ago

that's 4 years of sweet sweet love you just missed out on. Or 4 years of comfortable homelessness.

[–]Teledildonic 27 points28 points ago

Unless he bought it used, then its less than 4 years he missed.

But then there's the love it received before he got it...

[–]pizzlethizzle 105 points106 points ago

I have a Honda Element and last weekend I folded the back seats up like this and put an air mattress in the back. I was able to sleep comfortably at 6'3". The seats also fold flat like your car (but yours looks more comfortable).

[–]Daolpu 93 points94 points ago

Element owner here. The flat folding seats aren't actually flat. More of a heavily compressed W shape like this: http://i.imgur.com/hMZ0a.png

It's AWFUL to sleep on. I've tried it. Fold the seats up to the wall and lay down some padding. Much better time.

[–]pizzlethizzle 21 points22 points ago

Yeah, a guy I know who also owns one said he tried sleeping on the folded down seats and wasn't able to get much sleep that night. I've heard of people getting some foam and making wedges to flatten it out. But the air mattress in the back worked perfectly.

[–]Daolpu 73 points74 points ago

The only other thing I could think of would perhaps be to lay an air matress across the flat folded seats? Gotta admit this looks comfy: http://i.imgur.com/aVUOs.jpg

I'm an average height guy at 6'1" but I cannot sleep with folded legs or arms at all. I like to stretch! This would allow that.

[–]saintmuse 43 points44 points ago

average height guy at 6'1"

You must live in the Dinaric Alps or Netherlands.

[–]BlackDeath3 3 points4 points ago

Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Portugal... they not have women there, or what?

[–]pizzlethizzle 39 points40 points ago

That does look nice. I've seen some stuff online of people making sleeping platforms like this: http://i.imgur.com/K5CJg.jpg Takes advantage of the height so you can still store stuff while sleeping.

When I was in the back I could stretch out, but to fully extend I had to put my feet in between the two front seats a little bit.

[–]roboroller 56 points57 points ago

This makes me want an Element. Might come in handy in case of unemployment or zombie apocalypse.

[–]Androktasie 28 points29 points ago

Better move quick then; 2011 was the last year they were manufactured.

<3 my 2007 Element.

[–]roboroller 5 points6 points ago

I think I mentioned to my wife once that I thought they looked kind of cool and she balked at the idea. I don't know why. She's kind of picky with vehicles I think.

[–]livication 24 points25 points ago

To be fair, it's one of the uglier boxier cars out there, but shit, once I saw all that cargo space it totally changed my insight. (edit: just realized the double-meaning there...in that my fiancée owns a Honda Insight which I drive from time to time...lol)

[–]roboroller 7 points8 points ago

Maybe I'm weird, I actually like the way they look.

[–]throwawaymechanic37 14 points15 points ago

1994 Accord wagon owner here. When my dad and I drove to florida we put the back seats down and put my twin sized mattress in the trunk. We had pillows, sheets, blankets, I'll have to post a picture on reddit.

While one of us drove, the other napped in the trunk. I'm 6'3" and I fit just fine.

Go Honda!

[–]deprivedchild 3 points4 points ago

93 Accord owner here that was going to buy a 94 Accord Wagon instead but wussed out. I'm jealous, considering I'm the same height and I really don't want to pay for hotels when I go on the road trip. D:

[–]BeerPowered 3 points4 points ago

I'm the same height and I perfectly fit in the trunk of my 1991 Corolla liftback. The cleverly engineered interior of a Toyota.

[–]fit2fly 219 points220 points ago

I'm 5'13" and that doesn't even look big enough for me.

[–]kingofnorcal 9 points10 points ago

I forgot to mention that the back seats recline to a certain degree. You pretty much utilize both front and rear seating.

[–]TheRealSamBell 208 points209 points ago

I'm 4'22" and I feel the same way

[–]fit2fly 74 points75 points ago

Hey you stole my joke! :(

[–]Casey77 45 points46 points ago

He got more upvotes than you too... there there /comfort

[–]Propolandante 53 points54 points ago

[–]dominicanlou 29 points30 points ago

ughhhhhh Frisky Dingo. Such an absurdly good show. If you like archer, the humor is sliiightly along the same lines, in my opinion.

[–]PortableSheep 17 points18 points ago

master cylinder!

[–]BigBabyBurrito 7 points8 points ago

We can never go back to Arizona!

[–]Androktasie 3 points4 points ago

This is yet another outrage!!

[–]DFSniper 14 points15 points ago

Dude that's fucking sweet!

[–]mr_baseball 14 points15 points ago

taking this straight to a drive in

[–]FluffyLion 23 points24 points ago

Clever name. Hinting at it's use for more comfortable car sex without actually stating it.

[–]Shruglife 9 points10 points ago

What?! I also have a 2006 scion tc and had no fucking idea. amazing, thanks!

[–]AndoKillzor 22 points23 points ago

What is this "social" you speak of?

[–]Whoa_Bundy 59 points60 points ago

It's kinda like when you upvote someone else, except in real life.

[–]feynmanwithtwosticks 32 points33 points ago

Upvoting is like banging your high school girlfriend on a quiet stretch of dirt road before cerfew? Now I feel weird.

[–]notnotcitricsquid 16 points17 points ago

I want to upvote you but I don't want to get caught by the police.

[–]Red_Dog1880 6 points7 points ago

I need a Scion now, for festivals.

No more sleeping in shitty tents, yay.

[–]Yeti_Poet 5 points6 points ago

At 5'11 is it comfortable? Or just tolerable? I'm 6' but that space looks so small... I feel like I could do it for a night but never for a long road trip where I'd need real restful sleep to keep safely driving for 16 hours.

[–]feynmanwithtwosticks 4 points5 points ago

This picture screws with the depth a bit. The tC is actually quite roomy

[–]PeteJ1s 124 points125 points ago

For those teen couples out there with strict parents.

[–]RyanLikesyoface 17 points18 points ago

Teen couples? Yeah, Wish I could afford a car like that.

[–]ExiledSenpai 30 points31 points ago

Where do I purchase one of these? What is this contraption called?

[–]nofelix 8 points9 points ago

wouldn't it be a lot easier to just stuff a normal inflatable bed in your car and pack the footwells with luggage? then you have a normal bed you can use elsewhere too

[–]cmdr_joe 250 points251 points ago

I've bought one of these for my truck...

http://www.trucktentscanada.com/files/1600116/Sportz%20Truck%20Tents%20Upload/57-Series-no-rain-fly.jpg

Probably the most comfortable camping trip I've ever had. Nowhere near as comfortable as my friends' trailers but still awesome.

Air mattress + truck suspension + not on ground = awesome camping.

[–]BrianThePainter 72 points73 points ago

Not trying to be a dick or anything, but how is that better than a tent on the ground? I mean, it's not like your gonna be driving around while you're in the tent.

[–]cmdr_joe 114 points115 points ago

I found that the added "bounciness" of the truck's suspension to make it an even more "soft" (comfortable) experience.

Of course, when I went on my last trip with my truck tent I was so drunk the whole time I probably could have slept on a bed of nails and it would have been comfortable.

Edit: As some of the other posters pointed out, you are off the ground so you are less likely to get soaking wet (my truck bed has drain holes so water drains easily), don't have to deal with bugs, and some better protection from things like bears (at least on 3 sides). So those are also pluses.

[–]JH_92 8 points9 points ago

Just saying- if a bear wants to get inside your tent, a couple feet of ground clearance and foot-high walls on three sides aren't going to stop it.

[–]cmdr_joe 10 points11 points ago

Absolutely true, better than nothing though.

[–]cornholio12 75 points76 points ago

I have no experience with that thing, so let me admit that firstly.

However, I'd think:

1) Elevated from ground... think of bugs, insects, reptiles, etc. Mosquitoes driving you nuts in the tent? Go sleep in the cab of the truck, it's right there.

2) Possible use of vehicle climate controls through the rear-window of the truck.

3) Drier. Less moisture from dew, less damage to ground. Compare tent on ground to tent in truck bed if it rains. Or if it storms, you could just sit in the cab and listen to the radio. Maybe mobile charging of cell phones with car-charger or converters to power other devices from the truck, right there.

4) And yes, it is mobile. You could move it in the shade of trees as the sun moves to keep things cooler or warmer depending on what you want.

5) Can pack it up and leave it in the truck-bed when done, without having to drag a trailer around. Far cheaper than a "trailer."

6) Doesn't damage ground you are on as much, since it's low-footprint and you can shift your spot around as needed, especially say rather than smothering grass with a tent ontop of it that can't get light or water properly.

7) You can use both the cab of the truck and the tent for various purposes, and they are attached.

8) If you had an emergency and needed to leave, it looks like you could easily and safely drive the truck slowly somewhere with no issues, taking everything at a moment's notice.

9) The feeling of added security by being up in the truck bed rather than on the ground.

10) If you have a truck and that attachment, there's no reason you would put your tent on the ground unless you weren't allowed to drive there. Imagine you're caught in a storm, the wind whipping at tents, pounding on the textile surfaces; yet, you could just go get in the cab of a truck in like 15 seconds with power, mobility, radio, GPS, etc.

[–]enhance_that 59 points60 points ago

It sounds like you just really want to sleep in the cab of a truck.

[–]Ragecomicwhatsthat 11 points12 points ago

As a person with the near exact same truck shown in the picture, I feel sad because I don't have a sliding glass window =(

[–]TheSpaghetti_Monster 13 points14 points ago

Bugs and such. It just seems safer being higher up as well, nothing can crawl in.

[–]ThirdFloorGreg 22 points23 points ago

The ground is made of rocks, and probably gets colder than the truck bed does at night.

[–]papajohn56 6 points7 points ago

Way to defeat the purpose of camping.

[–]mbgt 137 points138 points ago

When we go on camping trips, my dad puts his camper shell on the back of his truck, and puts his full bed mattress in the bed of the truck.

[–]nm3210 311 points312 points ago

I'm not sure that image has enough labels yet.

[–]nruticat 137 points138 points ago

[–]FriesWithThat 28 points29 points ago

In case you didn't know what a camper shell was, here's the dissertation of camper shell pictures...

[–]FuckThisImGoingHome 41 points42 points ago

We used to do this on car trips. Obviously safety was not priority #1....

[–]Bekaloha 25 points26 points ago

When my boyfriend and I road tripped from Alabama to Texas with my little sister and our dog last Christmas, we had the camper top on the truck and filled the entire back with several dozens of blankets, comforters, and about a million and a half pillows. It was a little winter wonderland for my sister and the dog during the 12 hour trip.

[–]awfulgrace 18 points19 points ago

That's super dangerous. You get into an accident, they're going to bounce around the bed like a couple ping-pong balls.

A high school friend died that way. Was lying down in the back of a mini-van when the driver got into an accident, and his body just flew around the cabin.

[–]outlier_lynn 6 points7 points ago

There was a time when Americans weren't afraid of there own shadow. I miss those times. When I was a young boy, my father made the back seat into a bed for long trips. It was good.

[–]netinept 23 points24 points ago

pretty sure that's not only dangerous to ride in the back (think: carbon monoxide and potential of collision with no seatbelt), but also illegal in most states.

[–]itouchboobs 19 points20 points ago

Just how exactly are exhaust gases going to go from under the truck, to up inside the bed of the truck while driving down a road? I know Indiana and Tennessee don't care about riding in the back of a truck, Tennessee law says just not on highways, but never have been pulled over with people in the bed.

[–]martellus 3 points4 points ago

That actually seems pretty sweet.

[–]teamherosquad 8 points9 points ago

it's decent. it's usually cold as fuck but with a nice one you're weather proof.

[–]othersomethings 90 points91 points ago

The child version of me would have given up every piece of candy in the world for that invention.

[–]LeonardNemoysHead 8 points9 points ago

It would shield your fragile child bones in an accident kinda.

[–]riyadhelalami 3 points4 points ago

Have you really hated candy that much?

[–]twent4 125 points126 points ago

I am 5'8". Fuck all you tall people, i would manage and i will like it

[–]twasdreary 55 points56 points ago

is 5'8" short?

[–]xboxer102 75 points76 points ago

A little

[–]Man_from_the_future 50 points51 points ago

Sucks for me then. Im a 5'4" man.

[–]darwin9 19 points20 points ago

so oompa-loompas take over the world, not the apes.. it all makes sense now...

[–]Man_from_the_future 8 points9 points ago

Our lower center of gravity, and superior intellect allows us to take down the ape army that will be coming round in a few years.

[–]twasdreary 10 points11 points ago

BUT I DON'T WANNA BE SHORT!

[–]SheldonFreeman 9 points10 points ago

Not very short if you're a girl or an Asian man.

[–]JesusPoints 6 points7 points ago

I fucking LOVE girls.

[–]pepito420[!] 13 points14 points ago

5"8-5"9 is the average. I don't really see the problem considering girls are 5"4-5"5 on average so we can still get jiggy with it

[–]wackywabbit 42 points43 points ago

I always though this is a neat idea. http://i.imgur.com/dRuDf.jpg

But when in doubt. You can always sleep on top. http://i.imgur.com/0EYAU.jpg

[–]Crimyote 35 points36 points ago

With my luck on the second one I would have to wake up to take a piss late at night and be too groggy to remember my tent is on top of a Jeep.

[–]WcJessen 27 points28 points ago

Day 12: the bears are starting to learn how to use a ladder.

[–]BiBoFieTo 233 points234 points ago

[–]flecko 41 points42 points ago

[–]youregonnaloveme 672 points673 points ago

Stop being 6'4"

[–]PsychoM 330 points331 points ago

[–]Kramol 81 points82 points ago

Legs: they are overrated.

[–]B_S_O_D 88 points89 points ago

Disregard legs; acquire sleep.

[–]The_Jacobian 15 points16 points ago

I'm 6'3 and have a 30'' inseam. I don't have legs. Sadly, I'm stuck with a stupid tall body.

[–]Amonoatak 44 points45 points ago

I'm 6'0", really anyone over like 5'0" will know this isn't all that great. Ingenious, but alas.

[–]SwoopRacer 51 points52 points ago

I'm 6'0 too... Unrelated question... Do you feel taller than others? Because I personally feel that I am a normal "average" height and I feel strange when people tell me I'm tall.

[–]LeifEriksonisawesome 29 points30 points ago

At 5'3" , you depress me.

[–]FabesE 20 points21 points ago

6'8", Hi.

[–]Siarles 24 points25 points ago

Also 6'0". And no, I don't feel particularly tall.

[–]fit2fly 5 points6 points ago

I'm about 6'2" with shoes on, I used to feel this way. But not really anymore. I think society made me think I am tall. Don't worry, you'll grow into it. ;)

[–]SwoopRacer 4 points5 points ago

I actually kinda feel like 6'2 would have been a satisfactory height for me. Too bad I'm 21 already.

[–]illegible 6 points7 points ago

nope, you're pretty much 'short' </only 6'3">

[–]BuckeyeBentley 8 points9 points ago

It's better than sleeping without that in the back seat of a car. I have done that, I'm only 5'10" and it was still brutal. What I ended up doing was pushing the driver's seat all the way forward and leaning it forward so I could put my feet up on it/the door and be kind of comfortable.

I would have vastly preferred this, since I sleep in the fetal position anyway.

[–]wildo421 9 points10 points ago

Roll down the window and stick your feet outside.

[–]QuintinT 42 points43 points ago

I am 6'2" but it your sleep fetal positions like me it shouldnt be a problem. But it would probably be very uncomfortable for us if we extend or legs.

It sucks being tall..

[–]jjswee 45 points46 points ago

It doesn't suck at all being tall. It is just harder to fit in small spaces and buy cheap clothes (some companies are changing this though). The benefits far outweigh the disadvantages.

--6'3 person.

[–]Poogy 20 points21 points ago

Fact: It does not suck being tall. I am relatively tall and despite the occasional inconveniences, it sure beats being short.

[–]hahainternet 14 points15 points ago

Fact: fuck regular sized baths

[–]Audioworm 15 points16 points ago

I'm not even that tall (6'1") but my legs are way longer than they should be for someone of my height. I can sympathise with all the tall people out there as I have yet to find a plane or bus where my knees don't touch the seat in front of me

[–]Poogy 19 points20 points ago

You want weird? I'm just under 6'1", and I have a 30 inch inseam. It's insanely convenient for sitting behind people, really inconvenient for headroom.

Pants too. My god are pants hard to find in my size.

[–]kittyroux 4 points5 points ago

That's amazing. I'm a little over 5'6" and I have a 34 inch inseam. I don't know if the ratios are different for women, but still, I am imagining the sheer size of your torso and my mind is blown.

[–]Poogy 8 points9 points ago

It's definitely a lot different for women, but I'm still about 4" or so too short in the inseam for my height. My wife is 5'6" and has a 32" inseam.

Though, I think it's not as crazy looking as you're imagining. I do sit extremely tall, though. My stepbrother is 6'9" and he barely seems taller than me when we're seated next to each other.

Edit: Here's a pic for science

[–]conrad98 9 points10 points ago

6'9"

I'm usually given the exit row automatically since my head is fully above the rest of the heads when the attendants are doing their safety dance

The only plane I have ever been on was a two person plane like a bi-plane and I had to put my legs in the most uncomfortable positions it made flying the plane even more awkward. Also the first car I had just last year was a Toyota Carrolla the back seats are so small for us long car rides were the worst

[–]Tripplite 20 points21 points ago

I'm 6'5". The car I drove to college had a front bench seat. Fully stretched out I could put my head on one door's armrest and my feet on the other. It was a 70 Bel Air. I miss that car.

ah, the days when cars were boats and the boats... were also boats.

One of the things I love about my Honda Fit are its magic seats. The front seats fold into the rear ones and make a "bed".

[–]TheMaryTron 11 points12 points ago

How do you like the Fit? I have been very satisfied with my Accord but it is aging. And I want to get another Honda so it is high on my list for next vehicle possibilities. I am researching it everywhere.

[–]TheLibDem 8 points9 points ago

I have had a 2008 Honda Fit for 3.5 years, bought it new, and I love the car. I get ~30 MPG's combined and it fits tons of stuff in the back.

[–]sneaky_dragon 1 point2 points ago

I love my Fit. 2011 Sport model. Love the gas mileage (~33.4mpg combined, 44.3 mpg highest), the compact size, and how useful it was for moving in college. There really is a ton of trunk space. :)

Only thing is that I usually don't volunteer my car for road trips. The back can be cramped shoulder-wise with 3 people. Leg space is apparently fine though. And the seats can be a bit hard.

Also, no automatic lights, outside temperature, or variable windshield wiper. And A/C can be a bit weak sometimes. Other than that, not any other faults I can immediately think of.

edit:// Oh, if you don't like road noise, it can be a problem in the Fit. They may have fixed some of it in the newer models though. I play my music super loud, so I don't really care about that part.

[–]noahjk 5 points6 points ago

Hm, I didn't know I could do that! These cars are roomy as heck though - I moved my entire dorm room out last year in one trip in my Fit.

[–]Foxbatt 39 points40 points ago

I don't always go on long trips but when I do I travel in style

[–]NoVaGuy 19 points20 points ago

My god, the levels of cozy in that second picture.... ahhhhhh (warm, cuddly feeling)

[–]Foxbatt 10 points11 points ago

Yep, resting on 2 thick sleeping bags and a Japanese style Fulton mattress. I prefer it over my bed at home

[–]thepizzlefry 18 points19 points ago

All the other hobos are going to be so jealous.

[–]Elizabeth202 9 points10 points ago

As someone who just spent two weeks traveling/sleeping/living in my car, this would have been a god send. Im 5'6 and i slept on my uncomfortable toyoto matrix back seat. So much pain. So much

400+ comments and not a single link to where I can purchase one?

Reddit has failed me.

[–]hoshitreavers 18 points19 points ago

HA found it! Good luck ordering from sketchy chinese website :D

From the thumbnail I thought it was an upskirt of a girl in a yellow sundress bending over.

Where is my mind?

[–]CaravanPony 16 points17 points ago

clicked that hoping for pixies. was not dissapointed.

[–]CrazyAnimalLady 6 points7 points ago

I have a Hyundai Tucson. I have converted the back to a bed for my husband ( we have to travel a lot to his medical appointments and he is not well enough to sit up for a long car ride or is only half awake from whatever procedure.) I made it out of a 3 inch thick memory foam mattress pad and blankets etc it is very comfortable and he fits nicely at 6'2.

[–]martellus 17 points18 points ago

I feel like the side not resting on the chair would sag quite a bit under weight and it would annoy the shit out of me.

[–]Atario 5 points6 points ago

There's an inflated block piece that's supporting it on the floor half.

[–]analalf 5 points6 points ago

I used to drive around with an air mattress and pump in the back of my car. Whenever I was too shit faced to drive home I'd just put the seats down in the back, pump the bed up, kick off my shoes and knock out.

[–]SRowan 41 points42 points ago

If you're under 5'2".

[–]coalWater 67 points68 points ago

My under 5'2" what?

[–]SRowan 25 points26 points ago

[–]dont_knockit 23 points24 points ago

Your bad. And you're bad.

[–]Neodymium 5 points6 points ago

I am, yay! I don't have a car though.

[–]arwenface 7 points8 points ago

Bitch, please. I have a mini-van with the middle seats taken out.

[–]Drewboy64 4 points5 points ago

Man, when I was a kid, we used to go on roadtrips and would put our igloos with food in that gap. Then we'd lay a blanket over it and have pillows and it was awesome. good times.

[–]KittyKathy 4 points5 points ago

I'm 5 feet tall... I fit in the back seat of my car without a problem. :D

[–]MisterKamel 11 points12 points ago

I drive a 2013 Kenworth T660. Got a full bed behind the seats, refrigerator, climate control Apu (auxiliary power unit) so i dont have to run the truck motor for a/c or power. Very comfy. Plenty of social room to bang fat girls with loose morals.

What greater signal of a truly "Grapes of Wrath" economic downturn might anyone need when such an idea of sleeping soundly in a car reaches this top-listed level of interest? (No politics implied, just an observation.)

[–]kornty 6 points7 points ago

Good company to invest in if Romney gets elected.

[–]thepasswordisass 8 points9 points ago

You know what else is brilliant? Sleeping on a bed.

[–]jpear8c 3 points4 points ago

I need one of those, is there a site to buy these for any type of vehicle?

[–]Solarnynja 4 points5 points ago

I'm 6'8". fuck everything about this

[–]pugslie 2 points3 points ago

Where can i buy this... This would be so handy when i want to sleep in my car in between classes.

[–]sanswork 0 points1 point ago

See that little space on the floor in the back there. Back when I still owned it if I was out and had a few to many I would somehow find a way to fit in there and get a good nights sleep(helped by the emergency blanket kept in it for winter driving). Oh what I would have given for something like this.

Sleeping in the front seats was out for obvious reasons and that stupid cup holder+micro seats in the back made sleeping across the bench impossible. :(

[–]ilikehockey2 2 points3 points ago

Where do I buy?

[–]unprofessional1 0 points1 point ago

I wish I was about 2 feet shorter maybe I could fit.

[–]scootter82 2 points3 points ago

Not really. If they were really smart, they'd just fold down the seats and have twice the width and a few more feet in length. That's a 3rd Generation 4Runner Limited (I have one). Seats fold near flat and with that pad would be perfect...and take up less cargo space cause you wouldn't need those large cushions to prop you up.

Edit: Spelling

[–]HoffmanMyster 2 points3 points ago

My truck came from the factory with a bed.

[–]oslthom 2 points3 points ago

My back has been broken ever since a climbing accident and I couldn't drive for very long due to backpain, so I bought a VW Multivan Startline, allowing me to recline the bench in the back like this, connecting to a padded board in the very back making space for 2-3 people to rest and sleep. It was brilliant!
