For fuck's sake, if you've already seen all of reddit, why are you still on it? Let the newer users have fun instead. Maybe you can feel good knowing that your seniority allows you experience and preemptive knowledge on this subject. Maybe you can just go look at other posts. I don't know, but you can be doing all sorts of other things rather than informing us all how old this .gif is. All it does is make you seem bitter about trivial things, and I'm not judgmental enough to assume something like that.

Actually the shark is not protecting "its people". The shark is equally related to the teleost fish as to the mammalian cat.

Cats are generally afraid of large objects flying over them. I assume it is an instinctual avoidance of hawks, eagles, etc.

On that topic, I have a stuffed owl that I occasionally menace my cats with. On the shelf, it's not a threat. But over their heads...well, they freak the fuck out.
