There's also poop inside you right now.

Yes, that's right - poop is gross, and you have some inside you right now. Take a quick think about your significant other, your family, your parents - they all have poop inside them right now too. That beautiful woman you just checked out on r/nsfw? Yep - she was carrying poop with her when that photo was taken. Some bigger than others, some greenish, some dark, some soft, some not - some that will float, some that won't.

While you're reading this, the poop inside you is slithering its way towards your anus via a sticky mucous like substance. It's putting more and more pressure on your bowels to contract so you can release your disgusting, steamy, stinky, hulking mess of shit that you've been carrying around like an internal sub sandwich for the past 12 hours. You disgusting shit monster you.

Cool heart gif tho bro...

[–]VampireOnTitus 110 points111 points ago

Here's a fun fact:

If you took all the poop you produced in one year and laid it out end-to-end, it would actually be really fucking weird that you did that.

[–]dankhimself 14 points15 points ago

You could measure the stench and come up with a brand new unit of measurement for odor called a "poop year" though.

That would be pretty fucking cool.

[–]CorporateImperialism 5 points6 points ago

I just devoured a baked potato drunkenly and i have to take the biggest shit and while this discussion encourages this shit i think im just gonna go to bed and take this shit tomorrow morning.

[–]Pagie7 4 points5 points ago

This shouldn't have made me laugh as hard as I did.

[–]omgukk 9 points10 points ago

I have an interview coming up soon. To ease my nerves I may think about everyone else in the room having nasty shit in their bowels. You know, to make us all on the same playing field.

[–]Semen-Thrower 16 points17 points ago

Oh man, for some reason I felt utterly shameful after reading that.

[–]LoopTransmission 35 points36 points ago

Said Semen_Thrower.

[–]WriteTheWrong -1 points0 points ago

god. i need to go take a shower.

[–]terriblehuman 1 point2 points ago

biological creatures are so fucking disgusting.

[–]CuriousAbra 1 point2 points ago

God I wish I was a brain in a jar. Hook me up to the internet, give me some manipulator arms, and I'm good from now to the end of time.

[–]OnlyFoolsAndHorses 0 points1 point ago

If you want to know how that might turn out... read this.

[–]BrokenBraviaInOregon 0 points1 point ago

Oh Jeeeeebus, THANK YOU seakay for the good laugh. I needed that.

[–]Torus2112 0 points1 point ago

I swear I didn't eat for two days once and I was still pooping a little sometimes; it does seem that you really are never free from the poop.

[–]uhleckseee 0 points1 point ago

Poop actually encompasses the body's general solid waste as well as waste from foods. Cells "poop" too.

[–]cited 0 points1 point ago

[–]BlondeGhandi 0 points1 point ago

[–]NekkidSnaku 0 points1 point ago

now I gotta poo. Thanks.

[–]ratking11[!] -4 points-3 points ago

Me: Doctor, I'm here to get my poop taken out.

Doctor: When does the narwhal bacon?

lol

Doctor: Alright then (puts on double layer of gloves), lets get that poop out. It's gross and it's only getting grosser.

[–]FearTheHump 15 points16 points ago

What

[–]twin-cest 340 points341 points ago

My little brother's heart is beating inside of a 69-year-old man now, giving a stranger a second chance of life with his early death. This gif reminds me, and makes me feel better about losing him.

[–]koalayummy 22 points23 points ago

Wow. You took it there, thanks for your honesty. Here's to you and your outlook.

[–]meerkulture 86 points87 points ago

Feels (donate life people)

[–]twin-cest 58 points59 points ago

Yeah, my parents donated everything they could, I can't remember but I think they said he helped 4 people and will help multiple burn victims. Lots of life gifts.

[–]Flameridden 15 points16 points ago

You have the opportunity to become Batman now

[–]Montisa2008 5 points6 points ago

What is this? A feel for ants!?

[–]notarapist72 -1 points0 points ago

But I need that to live.

[–]gonosis 15 points16 points ago

I came here with a huge joke in mind about me screaming "GET IT OUT GET IT OUT", then I see this as the first comment. My goofy grin disappears, and became a somber expression. Then a smile. A warm smile. I don't know you nor did I know your little brother, but I love you both for this. Thank you.

I applied for a health card just yesterday, after years of avoiding it due to a fear of doctors and hospitals. I chose to donate everything.

[–]pearldrum1 1 point2 points ago

Am I the only one who immediately touched my neck and felt my heartbeat IN SYNC with this picture?!

[–]Aleksander73 7 points8 points ago

Lots of feels.

[–]EatTheCake 1 point2 points ago

Well, I was going to comment, but then I saw this.

[–]SigonLegacy 0 points1 point ago

This is the reason I have a little red heart on the bottom right of my Texas license. If something happens to me, I want to help keep someone from sharing the same fate.

[–]fetus_cruncher -2 points-1 points ago

A 69 year old man? Sorry for your loss, but I'm would think a younger person would get it. Still, it's good to know something good came out of that tragedy.

[–]tetsuga3 29 points30 points ago

I felt in sync with that. Amazing.

[–]CryoGuy 28 points29 points ago

As a person with a heart condition it filled me with terror.

[–]MiracleBlue 18 points19 points ago

As a hypochondriac who is constantly convinced of having a heart condition, it did the same to me :(

[–]Tbone139 4 points5 points ago

As someone who used to be, I felt a brush with insanity. Hope you pull out of it someday.

[–]MiracleBlue 1 point2 points ago

thanks man. I'm receiving much needed treatment for my anxiety/panic, thankfully.

[–]HampeMannen 0 points1 point ago

Sorry if this sounds rude, but are you serious or not? I honestly can't tell - I've never heard of people getting treated for that before.

[–]MiracleBlue 3 points4 points ago

I'm serious. I have panic disorder. There are many treatments - some which involve medication, like what I'm on - available for anxiety disorders such as this. My hypochondria and anxiety are very closely linked, so fixing one has a profound effect on the other.

[–]HampeMannen 0 points1 point ago

Well that cleared things up, thanks.

Might i ask what treatments you're getting?

[–]MiracleBlue 0 points1 point ago

I'm on a very low dose of Selective Seratonin Re-uptake Inhibitors, or SSRIs :)

[–]Qh6201 0 points1 point ago

Look into supplementing your magnesium intake. Your anxiety means your body is pumping adrenaline which depletes your magnesium levels. This all contributes to that anxious feeling. Repleting the magnesium calms the adrenal glands, leaving you feeling relaxed. And the relaxed feeling is not groggy/drowsy, it's simply calm. I'm an anxious person and I started this two weeks ago and I'm happy with the results. Be sure to supplement calcium as well, as it is needed to balance out the magnesium.

[–]Talman 0 points1 point ago

As a person with a heart condition, it made me wonder if that heart was healthy or if it had myocardiopathy.

[–]Kongo204 0 points1 point ago

Born with a congenital heart defect. Mine leaks

[–]notarapist72 1 point2 points ago

JB Weld

[–]Kongo204 1 point2 points ago

My initials are JB and this confused me at first

[–]HankSpank -1 points0 points ago

That's on the fast side given that you've probably been at rest (on your computer) for more than 5 minutes.

[–]Darktidemage 80 points81 points ago

How the FUCK did you know I have a disembodied heart with electrodes stimulating it up my ass?

[–]knucklor 28 points29 points ago

All of reddit is one person, we are watching. We Know.

[–]chokfull 24 points25 points ago

As Reddit, We can confirm.

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]iLeo 2 points3 points ago

We already knew that.

[–]ElementalBrain 13 points14 points ago

No, it is notmhglflggsldhjzt

[–]JBHUTT09 20 points21 points ago

We were lucky his dying body landed on the mouse in such a way that the save button was clicked. Sleep now you heartless bastard.

[–]_ShyGuy_ 20 points21 points ago

My heart was beating in sync to it, then the gif froze. DON'T FUCKING SCARE ME LIKE THAT!!!

[–]CrusherEAGLE 0 points1 point ago

It is a sign. It was nice knowing you, ShyGuy. RIP.

[–]heeloliver 10 points11 points ago

I always find it hard to believe that the heart is always working...always moving...always keeping us alive no matter what. I find it surprising we don't have problems earlier.....the human body just amazes me.

[–]fullofbones 2 points3 points ago

You and me both. I have a ton of heart defects, but it just keeps chugging away, surgery scar tissue and all. If only everything in our bodies were that durable.

[–]GhostRooster 2 points3 points ago

I read that as "sugary scar tissue" and got hungry

[–]tennis12master 18 points19 points ago

It's amazing. That we are able to keep the most vital organ of ours outside of our bodies and still have it function as it normally does.. It really amazes me what the human body is capable of.

[–]AddictiveSoup 13 points14 points ago

IIRC, this gif is from Greys Anatomy or something similar. Heart transplants are rad though.

[–]AATroop 8 points9 points ago

I got to watch an open heart surgery once. It's not much different from this in that the whole heart is exposed (but not beating) and was definitely one of the most amazing experiences of my life just seeing the amount of work and concentration the surgeons put into it.

[–]ChoTai 2 points3 points ago

Did they shove ice in the chest cavity in the operation you saw? I saw an operation where they just kept putting ice in there and I thought it was such a surreal thing.

[–]AATroop 3 points4 points ago

No, but the room was incredibly cold (this was in Florida). Definitely below 60 degrees in summer.

[–]MrKyle666 22 points23 points ago

You southerners and your silly misguided notions of cold.

[–]AATroop 1 point2 points ago

No, I say incredibly cold because the outside temperature was 95 F. I was born in CT and live in PA.

[–]ill_jefe 0 points1 point ago

they actually fill the chambers of the heart with a potassium rich iced solution. it basically short circuits the heart and preserves the tissue so it won't be damaged.

they also cool the body down to about 32-33 degress C to preserve the tissue in the body from any damage from hypoxia.

[–]Lanza21 0 points1 point ago

That's the wrong term. Short circuiting causes extreme damage. It means to create a circuit with very little resistance causing high and dangerous amperage through the path, thus damaging all the components.

The solution probably inhibits the current, which would be the opposite of short circuiting it.

[–]earthrise33 1 point2 points ago

I know they do that with CABG procedures. It's one way of reducing the metabolic strain on the cardiac cells after you chemically stop the heart. Cold cells are slow cells.

[–]fullofbones 1 point2 points ago

They induce hypothermia to get the heart to stop beating. When it warms back up, it starts again on its own; no need for electrodes.

I had heart surgery when I was six.

[–]ill_jefe 1 point2 points ago

they don't always start up on their own. the "shock" to the tissue from being worked on sometimes requires heavy ionotropic medicine and assist devices like intra aortic balloon pumps to keep it working while they wean it from cardiac bypass.

[–]nojusticephoto 0 points1 point ago

I got to film open heart surgery when I was 19, as a photomate in the Navy Reserve - while standing on a ladder holding a giant camera (late 80's). Completely amazing experience, have been on the donor rolls ever since.

[–]AATroop 0 points1 point ago

That's pretty awesome. I was actually standing on a small box looking over the head of the patient. I was nervous I was going to fall in- didn't happen... thankfully.

[–]iamdanhi 0 points1 point ago

I think from House.

[–]Thecrumblingcookie 2 points3 points ago

What the human body is capable of? That heart wouldn't function without exceptional ingenuity and technology. It has more to do with our capacity for learning and creating tools.

The human heart isn't capable of sustaining it's normal functions outside the body without the proper stimulation.

[–]notarapist72 0 points1 point ago

As an immature male, I'm still strangely amused the the phenomenon known as Penis

[–]LordP0tato 6 points7 points ago

FALSE. PROOF: Dick Cheny

[–]twenty3z 0 points1 point ago

Dick chappy noooooo

[–]RichardHuman 1 point2 points ago

You're right: the man literally has no pulse. His artificial heart is a constant stream.

[–]poompt 0 points1 point ago

That is fucking awesome.

[–]umdiddly 4 points5 points ago

can that guy who fixes and centers gifs come in and do some magic?

[–]doghe14 3 points4 points ago

Was I the only one that forgot how to breathe when I watched that

[–]ill_jefe 5 points6 points ago

as a nurse who works in an open heart surgery intensive care unit...its cool to see the LV kick.

[–]samanthakm9 2 points3 points ago

Thank you, heart

[–]themikeysteve 3 points4 points ago

NOPE. Get that shit outta me

[–]JBLikesHeavyMetal 2 points3 points ago

My heartbeat synced up with the gif after I stared at it.

[–]Curdflappers 1 point2 points ago

Thats literally what happens IRL. Heart cells beat differently but when they touch they sync up. It's amazing

[–]iEATu23 0 points1 point ago

dude. No way.

[–]HerpJersey 2 points3 points ago

And then I died.

[–]TearHugger 3 points4 points ago

That's the most I've ever been aware of my heart.

[–]Kelsig 2 points3 points ago

As a venophobe, fuck you OP. Fuck you.

[–]reenburger 2 points3 points ago

That's a heart.

[–]GorillaWar 2 points3 points ago

It's stuff like this that made me want to stay away from biology and anatomy classes. It bothers me to know that inside me things happen. It's disturbing.

All that being said, it's a nice gif.

[–]exteenaw 2 points3 points ago

How do we not feel that constantly? I mean, I know if I put my head up against someone's chest I feel the vibrations faintly. But that thing looks like it jolts about with a lot of force.

[–]shamecamel 0 points1 point ago

because your heart is probably tinier than you think it is- it's about only the size of your fist and is surrounded by your air-filled lungs and visceral fat and stuff. It's not like it's a giant rotating motor or anything scary.

[–]ThatPony 2 points3 points ago

Whenever I see something like this, I become hyper-aware and my chest starts to feel really weird; like my heart is about to burst out of my chest or something. So, like an idiot, I put my hand on my chest to keep it from jumping out.

[–]capfal 2 points3 points ago

[–]retsamwerB 0 points1 point ago

I clicked on this while listening to 'Convergence' by Jonny Greenwood. Strangest experience ever.

[–]theceasar 0 points1 point ago

Isn't that just amazing..... beautiful too (in my opinion)

[–]pishiver 1 point2 points ago

As a hemophobe...fuck you.

[–]Kind_Of_A_Dick 1 point2 points ago

Bullshit. There's no alcohol in that gif.

[–]carved_face 0 points1 point ago

watching this gif while the Black Ops title screen beats away freaked me the FUCK out.

[–]Body_of_Secrets 1 point2 points ago

Something about the image of a beating heart creeps me out a little. That said, this is amazing and I'm so happy we have the technology to be able to accomplish this.

[–]erratic_gardener 0 points1 point ago

No it's not. I'm Karl Rove, and I run on oil.

[–]stemurph88 1 point2 points ago

Whoa I can totally see where the popular shape of the heart comes from. It looks like a traditional Valnetine heart with Jabba the Hut sitting on top of it with the hiccups.

[–]ItWillBeMine 0 points1 point ago

Doesn't look very reliable.

So, that's reassuring.

[–]NUbZhang 3 points4 points ago

70+ years of pumping is about as reliable of a pump as it gets.

[–]southernbelladonna 1 point2 points ago

Aaaaand now I'm fixated on my heartbeat. Thanks a bunch.

[–]B33rNuts 0 points1 point ago

Make it stop! Make it Stop! Mak........

[–]chasehochs 1 point2 points ago

i feel so bad for my heart. i wish i could give him just a little break...

[–]brokendimension 0 points1 point ago

There's hardly any blood moving if you look at the tube.

[–]stemgang 0 points1 point ago

And all of your cells are soaking in blood because of that.

It's a good thing.

[–]ngomez91 0 points1 point ago

PHEW, good thing I'm drunk

[–]happycrabeatsthefish 0 points1 point ago

Dub..Dub..Dub..Dub..Dub..Dub..Dub..

[–]dacreux 0 points1 point ago

You are now manually beating your heart.

[–]DJ_Febreeze 1 point2 points ago

Not me! dies

[–]MindlessDreamer 0 points1 point ago

Shitty title level: shitty

[–]TheAdAgency 1 point2 points ago

When I think of essential organs such as this, I am amazed that they never ever stop working. Which naturally scares me witless.

[–]lostrock -1 points0 points ago

Jimmy status: Jimmy

[–]Hesperus 0 points1 point ago

Where's stabilization attempt when you need him?

[–]Af_and_Hemah 0 points1 point ago

I spent about 5 minutes refreshing the page until my heartbeat synchronized with the gif. Totally worth it.

[–]atomp95 0 points1 point ago

As Bill Nye would say " Lub Dub, Lub Dub"

[–]BeerBaronBrent 0 points1 point ago

Don't act like you know me!

[–]RocKiNRanen 0 points1 point ago

Then why is it outside of me?

[–]MetalManic 0 points1 point ago

nope. my heart doesn't back blood up

[–]tblackwood 1 point2 points ago

This is hopefully happening inside of you right now.

FTFY

[–]Koalagenetalia 0 points1 point ago

This is offensive to dead people

[–]photoknut 0 points1 point ago

But when my ex-g/f broke up with me, her reason was that "I am heartless"..?

[–]LittleKey 0 points1 point ago

The human body is an amazing, awesome thing.

[–]MadroxKran 0 points1 point ago

My enemies would beg to differ.

[–]abasto 0 points1 point ago

I needed the reminder. Thank you.

[–]Killer_waffles 0 points1 point ago

We did not have the parts.

[–]iLeo 0 points1 point ago

I seriously freaked out when after looking at this gif because I reached to feel mine and could not feel a thing. It worried me for some reason, obviously I'm alive and beating but not being able to feel that reassuring beat sent me into a panic. The panic quicked my heartbeat and it began to pound loud enough for me to hear/feel it. OP, thank you very little for that scare.

[–]nicholas240 0 points1 point ago

I have mitral valve prolapse. So mine makes a squishy noise!

[–]Officer_Danger 0 points1 point ago

Joke's on you, I'm a zombie.

[–]dovahkiin65 0 points1 point ago

It doesn't help that it's perfectly synced with my heartbeat.

[–]Kongo204 0 points1 point ago

Mine is leaking and has a little metal coil lodged somewhere in it

[–]fetus_cruncher 0 points1 point ago

You mean I'm not dead? WTF!!!

[–]Takeabyte 0 points1 point ago

My whole everything tickled!

[–]Timijin 0 points1 point ago

And oddly enough I am okay with this!

[–]Glitchz0rz 0 points1 point ago

It syncs up really well with this remix (sorry I can't gifsound it, I only have the YTMND)

[–]BaxterMudsyLinco 0 points1 point ago

Mine is growing to the size of Secretariat's and about to explode. Sadly, I haven't won any races. Wasted potential....

[–]defthmpf 0 points1 point ago

Hope so

[–]DecryptedGaming 0 points1 point ago

People are naked under their clothes.

[–]matthewmora 0 points1 point ago

don't jinx it

[–]NachoBabyDaddy 1 point2 points ago

Pretty sure this is a fake heart from Gray's Anatomy or something

[–]Jackalman71 0 points1 point ago

it is, bout the 9000th time its been posted

[–]Ubaralook 0 points1 point ago

That's an eerie thought...

[–]asnom 0 points1 point ago

Was really cool when I noticed it was in sync with my heart beat

[–]kinuman93 0 points1 point ago

AAAAAH! Kill it!...wait...Ooooh. KILL IT!!

[–]dankhimself 0 points1 point ago

Yo mamma has that happening inside of her.

[–]Locusthorde300 0 points1 point ago

Sometimes I wish I could see my own heart beat.

[–]linedrive18 0 points1 point ago

It just beats so violently. It's crazy knowing that thing is inside of us, imploding and exploding every second.

[–]brunchman12 0 points1 point ago

Is it weird that this made my stomach grumble?

[–]guardian1991 0 points1 point ago

Mesmerized.

[–]jereddit 0 points1 point ago

please..nsfw this...

[–]JayMichael12 0 points1 point ago

[–]jereddit 0 points1 point ago

if you were to look at this at work-im pretty sure you would get fired

[–]Level_75_Zapdos 0 points1 point ago

I have the weirdest boner right now...

[–]sydneygamer 0 points1 point ago

How do you know I'm not a vampire? That's quite an assumption you've made sir/ma'am.

[–]yourgrandmaisazombie 0 points1 point ago

My heart was beating at the same time as the one from the GIF. It was a weird feeling.

[–]neurot 0 points1 point ago

that is trully amazing.

another thought. why are so many people downvoting this? just to do it? i'm sure some are doing it for actual reasons. i wonder what they are.

[–]DrZicter 0 points1 point ago

[–]IAMA_Ghost_Boo 0 points1 point ago

Not all of us.

[–]Lonehangman 0 points1 point ago

Only smaller? I don't know, I've never seen a human heart
