I think that kid is awesome obviously the parents are just making light out of a bad situation. Kids with downs go on to live pretty full lives AND have pretty good sense of humors.

It seems as though I got the wrong idea about this picture. For me it was like WTF would you dress your child with Down's syndrome in something like this. Apparently it's 'cute' or 'badass' though so there you go.

It's not like I thought a child with Down's syndrome is WTF worthy, I'm not that much of a dick.

Keep your hate to yourself. The kid is loving life. My daughter is a type 1 diabetic who proudly wears a shirt that says: " Quit whining, at least your pancreas didn't quit on you".. ( not that downs and diabetes are the same).

My SIL dresses her youngest in this same shirt but in blue- I think it is such crap and just an excuse for parents to scream for attention. I hate this. It would be fine if it were a teenager with downs who selected it himself but putting it on a little kid is just f'ed up.
