I can't help but think that whatever character trait enabled Buzz to do this also made him the right stuff to be an astronaut.

Now, I have yet to see him eat a cheeseburger to prove he's not half-alien. But cheeseburgers notwithstanding, you just don't fuck with Astronauts (unless you're another astronaut)
