To be honest "social darwinism" is a thing Hitler did believe in and implemented through eugenics program. Darwin himself was somewhat wishy washy on what he believed about eugenics and generally seemed to think it was a good but unthinkable thing.

That said, darwin could have eaten babies and it wouldn't have mattered because science isn't a thing that hangs on the moral strength of the science's creator.
