Where am I? What's a Vertical? What isn't?

r/Vertical is a subreddit dedicated to the posting of vertical comics. Verticals are images composed of a set of frames displayed vertically with captions overlaid onto each of them. The final frame usually delivers a punchline. They are usually taken from popular scenes in films or events. Vertical comics contain continuity and are not simply memes stacked one on top of another. Still confused?

What can I do here?

  • Subscribe to the subreddit, so that entries appear on your frontpage.
  • Submit a vertical you've found on reddit or anywhere else on the interwebs.
  • Submit a vertical you've made yourself using tools like QuickMeme, but please don't post non-verticals from QM.

my girlfriend and I were at a light in Culver City thumping Deltron 3030 in my 12 year old volvo, when Kanye rolled up next to us in his Bentley convertible with the top down. he gave us the 'that's whats up' nod, kinda like the obama 'not bad' then took off

Why is the Listerine bottle edited?

Trademark/they didn't pay for product placement. I'm assuming this came from some TV show or something - they always hide brand names, especially when the brand isn't paying them.

I always find it humorous when they do that to a very popular brand.

The first time I caught it was when I was 10 on an episode of Boy Meets World, and there was a very obvious Pepsi can that said "SODA".

It had the freaking Pepsi globe on it. It was more than obvious that it was Pepsi. If they were trying to avoid picking a brand, they avoided nothing.

Apparently this came from a "puppet sketch show" that Kanye was planning to make for Comedy Central, but it never took off or something.

Source.

I suppose that same sentiment could be used to describe Kanye West (Simple, yet elegant)
