Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

I refuse to troll this post. I hope the little fella gets better!

Is bone cancer treatable?

[–]TrollersGonnaTroll[S] 245 points246 points ago

Update that should have been done sooner: He is in remission, discharged from hospice, and not terminal.

[–]triggerhoppe 325 points326 points ago

TIL Batman cures cancer.

Cancer is no longer the bane of his existence.

[–]DangerousIdeas 7 points8 points ago

I....I cured you...

[–]kingkooka 7 points8 points ago

Batman kicks cancer in its tiny, shriveled balls.

[–]moshbeard 27 points28 points ago

I'm insanely glad to hear that, I was feeling very sad when I looked at the picture.

[–]aforu 11 points12 points ago

Add that to the main text!

[–]HeroesInc 9 points10 points ago

wow im getting a little emotional after reading that. Thats really nice to hear.

[–]cathmore 7 points8 points ago

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw that's great news. I teared up first time I saw him.

[–]demooo 14 points15 points ago

It can be! You should go here and become a donor!

[–]Smaskifa 7 points8 points ago

But I need my bones!

[–]zekerep 6 points7 points ago

The last time a clicked on a link like this I got a jump-scare. I am not sure if I trust you enough demooo.

[–]Lamlot 8 points9 points ago

It can be, the main way to treat other than chemo/radiation is amputation. Osteosarcoma is not a fun thing to go through.

[–]ieatbees 7 points8 points ago

Ah, my old nemesis. Let us put away our differences to help fight bone cancer.

[–]FreeThinker76 111 points112 points ago

I'm 18 years strong as a Bone Cancer survivor (Osteosarcoma) - Where's my Christian Bale?

[–]pascontent 360 points361 points ago

[–]Grandberry 19 points20 points ago

[–]TooManyBearz 48 points49 points ago

You've just gotta light the bat signal, mate.

[–]JediMasterSam 25 points26 points ago

You need cuter chubbier cheeks. I just want to pinch his!

[–]homochrist 27 points28 points ago

just an fyi, that might be swelling caused by the kid's bone cancer

[–]MrFatalistic 21 points22 points ago

:(

[–]lnghrdchshnd 20 points21 points ago

It's most likely because he's on a steroid along with chemo. The most common one is prednisone, and it causes weight gain and chubby cheeks.

[–]LightSwarm 5 points6 points ago

you need to be at least 15% more adorable.

[–]Potater757 9 points10 points ago

He's the Christian Bale you deserve. Just not the one you need right now.

[–]loldudester 2 points3 points ago

Do you have all your limbs?

If you don't mind me asking...

[–]mintfoot 266 points267 points ago

[–]Feldman011teen 45 points46 points ago

But it's not Jew

[–]Scarbane 49 points50 points ago

Who's gonna name their kid Jew Bale?

That's not a challenge, by the way.

I have to reorder my priorities.... this is big...

[–]mintfoot 4 points5 points ago

Have my upvote. Now I must fap.

[–]Kulhu 76 points77 points ago

Son, you are homosex.

[–]FancyMoustache 4 points5 points ago

The word homosex made me laugh more than I thought it would.

[–]bravo_six 16 points17 points ago

You are not alone

[–]HALF_BONER 2 points3 points ago

I would let him do things to me.

[–]mcgeem5 48 points49 points ago

People like to speculate about the character of celebrities based upon tabloid news reporting, but given this picture, and his unannounced visit to Colorado, I think it is safe to say that Christian Bale is probably a pretty decent guy.

[–]duelpear 4 points5 points ago

You hear that tirade he went on during the filming Terminator Salvation and you want to hate him because of it but then he keeps doing all this great stuff forcing you to love him.

[–]dedfink 14 points15 points ago

I think part of it is he is a method actor which is very stressful and he is also a perfectionist when it comes to his roles. Might make him a little difficult to work with occasionally but you can't argue with the results-- he's an exceptional actor. Not to mention everyone has bad days. I like to think of myself as a pretty good person but I have to admit to blowing up on someone over something small because I was having a really bad day and they happened to be the tipping point.

[–]railroadwino 2 points3 points ago

I also heard that that DP is actually a pretty unprofessional guy that a lot of people in Hollywood were waiting for to be told off. Pretty sure I heard that somewhere.

[–]Link2999 19 points20 points ago

Why are people making jokes about his weight? He's obviously taking (medicinal) steroids that are making him swell. Really not funny at all. I had to go through the same thing after my Bone Marrow transplant (for an Immune Deficiency I had when I was younger) and can tell you it was not fun AT ALL. Also, had to recently go on them after contracting a strain of Parvovirus that contributed to a case of immune hemolytic anemia.

[–]uniqr 3 points4 points ago

I watched a documentary about a little boy with cancer (was diagnosed and died 3 months later :( ). In photos from before the cancer he looked so different. Like a normal little gawky boy. In the documentary he looked very much like this boy in OP's pic- swollen all over. I can't give a medical explanation but I do remember the mum talking about how he'd swollen up so much during treatment, so shame on people giving him slack about his appearance.

[–]GoNavy_09 600 points601 points ago

Christian Bale took a pic with a kid with cancer. Atheist Bale did not.

Christians 1 Atheists 0

[–]jimm_monster 129 points130 points ago

I beleive it's now

Christians 2 Atheists 0

if we count the Aurora shooting.

[–]yosoymilk5 33 points34 points ago

Christian Bale also assaulted his mother once.

Christians: 2 Atheists: 1

[–]DutchPrisoner 48 points49 points ago

Yeah, this was sort of discredited. I think his mom was going after his money.

EDIT: Here's apparently the story of the "assault": There was a family dispute at a hotel -- apparently Bale's mom had insulted his wife and his mom was asking him for money. Bale yelled at her a lot and then may have slightly pushed her while walking past her. This was also shortly after Heath Ledger's death. Since it happened at a hotel, the police were called by someone else. The "assault" accusation seems to have been verbal assault. After police sorted things out, he was not charged and was released. Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1038185/Christian-Bale-flew-handle-family-begged-100k.html

[–]yosoymilk5 4 points5 points ago

Sigh And so, Atheist Bale has his point revoked. You and your logic...

[–]TheRustyTrombone 88 points89 points ago

From what I remember hearing, his mom (and sister?) are both ruthless cunts, and people close to Bale were not surprised by the news.

[–]frkcool 40 points41 points ago

yeah he choose to live with his father when his parents got divorced and his crazy mother is one of the reasons he could relate to the movie The Fighter

[–]Endyo 7 points8 points ago

He was pretty amazing in that movie. Actually, if it wasn't for him, the movie probably would have been quite bland because Markie Mark can only go so far in the drama world.

[–]the_goat_boy 3 points4 points ago

"No, no... ma'am we're noooooot."

[–]Cultjam 8 points9 points ago

I remember something about extortion.

[–]EnviousDan -4 points-3 points ago

Go fuck yourself. This is a really touching picture that speaks a lot to his character. And your top voted comment is a stupid fucking topic that Reddit beats into the ground.

But have a nice weekend. And please consider making insightful comments instead.

Edit: Oh yeah. Default subreddit. Oops.

[–]Lance_Pharmstrong 81 points82 points ago

OH GOOD FOR HIM

[–]WylieC2 27 points28 points ago

It isn't for the exact same kind of cancer, but if you are in the UK, sign up to Anthony Nolan here: http://www.anthonynolan.org/ If they find a match, they can use you to help try and cure someone. They are desperate for 18-35 year old males (i.e. you), so it is really worth it.

[–]projectemily 13 points14 points ago

They have a similar thing in the states called Be The Match where you can sign up to be part of the bone marrow registry so that if there is a sick person who happens to be a bone marrow possible match to you, you can donate to help save their lives. I recently registered and hope that one day I can be a match for someone.

[–]ryaninspace 16 points17 points ago

I signed up for be the match two years ago. Last week I was called on for it. Had the 9 tubes of blood taken last week for further testing to determine if I'm a definite match for this person. Great organization and I highly encourage people to sign up. It's so easy to get on the list and you could save a life one day.

[–]goderror 4 points5 points ago

Good on you, I am far too much of a coward to deal with the pain of donating marrow. I'm glad people like you can step up.

[–]ryaninspace 9 points10 points ago

All I've been told is it's for a 14 year old girl with leukemia. I'm more worried about the girl not finding a match than how the next steps will feel. It takes one to six weeks to hear back after they take the initial 9 tubes of blood. It's all I can think about.

[–]captainktainer 3 points4 points ago

I know that feeling, that obsession. The good news is that the confirmatory typing a) makes it a lot easier to find you in the system in the future, ensuring that your gift can get to a person in need faster and b) is almost always a sign that you'll be chosen.

Just... I know it's hard, but try to get a little emotional distance. There's still a good chance that either you won't be chosen, they'll choose to wait until later to do it, or she'll die. Your willingness to help might be the most noble thing you'll ever do, but at this point it's out of your hand.

When the first patient I signed up for died, I actually went through a grieving process. It seems silly... but I wanted him to live, and having lost my mother, I could imagine what his kids were feeling. Keeping a bit of distance is healthy, and I recommend it for your mental health.

[–]zamiel4tw 3 points4 points ago

Thanks for being awesome from those of us who don't qualify to sign up!

[–]WideGamer 2 points3 points ago

FUck, i am off course a native norwegian, but are the norwegian register open for Anthony Nolan to check, ive been a Bone marrow/Stem Cell donor in norway for 4 years now.

[–]demooo 8 points9 points ago

Please consider being a marrow donor everyone! Click here!

[–]Downstroyer 7 points8 points ago

Son of a fucking bitch.... that kid looks like my little brother... omg.

Like all the sudden it really sank in that shit like that can happen to anyone. That could of been my little brother. The idea of him having to go through so much shit... man, maybe it's just my mood today but fuck that hit me hard.

Serious shit, does anyone have a reputable bone cancer charity? Or something? I feel like I have to do something now, all I want is to make this kids problems go away. lol It sounds almost childish to say, but damn I seriously just cannot imagine the idea that my little brother would ever have to deal with something like that.

Seriously though... anyone know anything I can do to contribute? I really want to help now, eyes have been opened by this one little boy.

Edit to say I've saved these pictures as a constant reminder that I need to contribute more, I've been fucking weeping like a little girl for like 15 minutes lol.

[–]Link2999 4 points5 points ago

Don't donate over the phone, but instead go to a local church and ask. I'm an atheist myself, but when it counts the groups there do really help out.

[–]Downstroyer 4 points5 points ago

That's good then, I'm an atheist as well but I grew up in a very good Church. I actually had some plans to go this Sunday to see some friends and family, I'll talk to them about it. Thank you very much.

[–]Anal_Explorer 7 points8 points ago

What a great guy.

[–]gringobachatero 58 points59 points ago

I so wanna believe Bale is a nice guy. That whole audio recorded rant from a few years ago put me off, but seeing things like this is restoring my faith in him.

[–]abirdstolemycellfone 138 points139 points ago

I don't think he was in the wrong for yelling at that guy, though he might've gotten carried away. It is considered extremely rude and unprofessional to do anything that can distract an actor from a performance while rolling.

[–]furybuilt 54 points55 points ago

I agree, especially if he was in 'the zone' you know. It must be really taxing to get to that place and something like a light being adjusted must be so distracting. Probably takes you right out of whatever world you're pretending to be in pretty quickly.

[–]beboshoulddie 11 points12 points ago

I haven't heard about this, please elaborate.

[–]furybuilt 25 points26 points ago

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0auwpvAU2YA

Christina bale goes ballistic on a person doing something with the lighting on the set of Terminator. He's famously a method-type actor and I'm assuming it takes him an intense amount of time and energy to 'become' the character he's portraying. Someone moping around set adjusting things while he's trying to work is probably the most frustrating thing ever, so I personally excuse any freaks outs he has. Seems like a talented, stand up guy from where I'm sitting

[–]antoinebugleboy[!] 4 points5 points ago

Who's that, his sister?

[–]Cyfa 1 point2 points ago

Well, he was mad because film is expensive and they had to keep redoing the scene because somebody in the background was adjusting the lights during the scene.

[–]threeninjas 0 points1 point ago

WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO DISTRACT ME??

[–]103617 41 points42 points ago

He "went off" on camera person for fixing lights while he was delivering lines. This is a no no on set. He had the passion of his character, and the tech didn't do his job respectfully.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPY1bUpCgMA

[–]RedeemingVices 32 points33 points ago

If I were paid millions of dollars to do a job, I'd be pissed if someone else's unprofessional behavior caused me to fuck up, too.

From what I hear, Bale's rant was relatively mild for an actor. You can also tell that he calms down by the end of the rant, so it was clearly a case of momentary anger/frustration rather than, "I'm the king, so off with your head."

[–]ls1z28chris 6 points7 points ago

Screw the millions of dollars. Acting is his profession, and he takes it seriously. Even if he did go a bit overboard, unless he went through with his "YOU'LL NEVER WORK IN THIS TOWN AGAIN!" threat then I don't think he's necessarily a bad guy.

Also, I cannot be the only person who thinks that a person can put on one hat when they go to work, then take that one off and put on another when they're on their own time. Even if he gets passionate about his work and chews the occasional ass, from all this stuff it seems like he's a good person.

[–]XtraReddit 5 points6 points ago

According to Bale's apology, those words were all just "hot air." They continued working together and resolved everything the same day. He was into the roll of John Conner and the roll carried over. He admitted that he went overboard, but that clip is not representative of him, except that he does tend to curse a lot. Can understand that as an actor your emotions can be affected by a role and it was big of him to admit it was wrong to chew someone out for a mistake. Then went on to say what a great job the guy did on the lighting.

Bale's apology on a radio show

[–]CowplusCowequalsCows 15 points16 points ago

I think the fact he was speaking in an American accent ( well, to English ears anyway) shows he was caught up in the part and just had a temper tantrum. Happens to the best of us. Also he had the balls to apologise and admit he over reacted. Seems like a decent fella to me.

[–]JlyGrnGiant 5 points6 points ago

I believe it was while filming Terminator Salvation. Christian Bale and Sam Worthington were filming an intense bit of dialogue between the two when they are up in each other's faces. Some lummox was in the background adjusting the lights while Bale was trying to concentrate.

[–]Fillyblunts 10 points11 points ago

And if you listen to the audio, Bale does say that he's been distracting several times. That would piss off most people.

[–]Tinkerboots 23 points24 points ago

He did regret it, and if I've heard anything about him it is that he takes his job extremely seriously (see his weightloss for the machinist) and he gets very... Mentally in to his roles, so that's probably why he went a bit beserk. Not that he should have, but I don't think it is something to completely base your opinion on.

[–]deltarob 5 points6 points ago

seeing as he actually becomes every role he's in I'd say it's your own fault if your bring him out of the zone and you should expect the consequences

[–]XtraReddit 5 points6 points ago

According to Bale, the problem was that he became crazy ass John Conner for the scene and was chewing out the guy like crazy ass John Conner. The guy didn't do it on purpose, but people argue while working hard. It's professional etiquette NOT to chew someone out like that and no one should expect to be treated like that. Luckily they were both adults and worked it out.

[–]vynusmagnus 8 points9 points ago

I don't blame him for that, it sounded like he was a little frazzled. I assume acting is a pretty stressful job and having someone mess with your head and distract you probably doesn't help. Plus, I don't really care about his personality off-camera, I like him because he's a good actor.

[–]PrancingPeach 4 points5 points ago

Plus, I don't really care about his personality off-camera, I like him because he's a good actor.

Reddit sure doesn't feel the same way about Tom Cruise.

[–]foreveracubone 11 points12 points ago

We're just concerned for his safety since he's trapped in the closet.

[–]I_hate_whales 5 points6 points ago

It's awkward to listen to, especially not really knowing the full context, but I don't really blame him. Christian Bale is known to be incredibly dedicated to his characters. With what he puts himself through mentally, physically, and emotionally to get into character, if some random crew member kept getting in the way and distracting me from doing the perfect take, I'd probably lose it too.

[–]noscoe 5 points6 points ago

visiting sick or injured people at hospitals kind of trumps yelling at a sound guy on set.

I love hearing about the celebrities who give a huge amount of their time and money to charity, feels good man

[–]PancakesAreLove 4 points5 points ago

He could or could not be an asshole. I don't know him so I can't confirm anything but damn is he a dedicated actor. http://imgur.com/IYA2t

[–]Louiesbigass 5 points6 points ago

Well really who hasn't snapped a few times in their own life most people just don't get it recorded and played over and over.

[–]XtraReddit 2 points3 points ago

His apology on a radio show also put the rant in a better perspective. If someone walks in as you are in the middle of chewing someone out, of course you look like an asshole. The context and knowing that they made up and continued to work together after the argument changes everything. Alone the rant sounds like a spoiled actor trying to get people fired for small mistakes.

Bale's apology

[–]Billy_bob12 3 points4 points ago

Believe it or not everyone was thrilled that he did that, because apparently the guy he was yelling at was a total dick.

[–]boosted7 22 points23 points ago

GG Christian bale - Takes photo with you, doesn't hoverhand.

[–]megalurkeruygcxrtgbn 17 points18 points ago

Bad Luck Little Boy - Christian Bale doesn't hoverhand, accidentally causes internal bleeding.

[–]Karfanatik 4 points5 points ago

Christian bale. A real class act except for that time he had a spaz. Everybody has their off days I guess

[–]watchtheworldsmolder 4 points5 points ago

From someone who has cancer running and killing in their family and has a young child, this made the hair on my neck stand up, not just celebrities but most people just look the other way and ignore when they see people in obvious cancer treatment never mind touch them

[–]AgentFlynn 12 points13 points ago

And he looks thrilled.

[–]Aziral 4 points5 points ago

"Who is this and when do I get to meet batman?"

[–]SoulTea 4 points5 points ago

Right in the feels. Good man Mr. Bale.

[–]mojambo 8 points9 points ago

I think this is Club 33 in Disneyland

[–]sleekmr3 3 points4 points ago

yep that's club 33 for sure. That little white table against the wall is from Mary Poppins

[–]Dr623 3 points4 points ago

Christian Bale is the man.

[–]SonofSin17 3 points4 points ago

This might be the greatest picture I've seen in a LONG time

[–]ThedudeORL 1 point2 points ago

Dude of the year hands down. Bale is a boss

[–]HopelesslyStupid 3 points4 points ago

Damn it, I hope that kid turns out okay, it is so heartbreaking looking at him and knowing he may not make it. Looks so innocent. :/

[–]Bucketcup 10 points11 points ago

Not Boneitis!?!?

[–]Stjepo 1 point2 points ago

Where on earth are they, that there is a harpsichord in the parlour!?

[–]bravo_six 2 points3 points ago

Most awesome guy there is Christian Bale

[–]Steve0mac 2 points3 points ago

bale is the man

[–]ProJokeExplainer 2 points3 points ago

I hope he used the batman voice the whole time

[–]manny365 2 points3 points ago

This post made my day.

[–]Fugitivebush 2 points3 points ago

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Look at that cute little marshmallow.

I just wanna hug him.

[–]carvedpumpkin 0 points1 point ago

You're my cuppycake, gumdrop, snoogums-boogums

[–]Nubbin73 2 points3 points ago

I've been coming to the reddit homepage for a while and I never had an account. Seeing this picture warmed my heart and made me sign up so I can comment. Reading the update below I see he's doing much better. I hope he does well.

[–]tophOCMC -1 points0 points ago

I like that he chills with kids in need, but why is he always Broin out with the shades and a backpack?

[–]Godfreak 2 points3 points ago

He does a lot of stuff for sick kids and communities and stuff, it seems.

[–]KrunoS 2 points3 points ago

Bone cancer is horrendous. Good to know the little man's doing well.

[–]Untz234 -1 points0 points ago

Honest question: is his "size" anyway caused by his condition

[–]aquajerk 2 points3 points ago

Why would people downvote this? It's amazing a movie star would even consider this, let alone follow through with a personal visit.

[–]PollySix 0 points1 point ago

Ah shit, I cried. No more feels please, it's all too much.

[–]lonelyhotgirl 2 points3 points ago

oh my God, sooo cute, can I just kiss his chubby cheeks:)

[–]yokopwno 2 points3 points ago

Christian Bale seems like such a sound guy. Bloody legend.

[–]DoogieBrowser 2 points3 points ago

Here's the link for anyone wanting the full story. Turns out this kid is from my hometown of Youngstown, OH, and there was a whole day dedicated to him in Boardman. Good stuff, good for the kid.

[–]Papapoliwag 2 points3 points ago

That is by far the cutest little dude i have ever seen.

[–]2muchparty 2 points3 points ago

33 club in Disneyland. Was just there a while ago. That piano and another piece of furniture I don't believe is visible in the photo were used in Mary Poppins.

[–]Bval 1 point2 points ago

Spanky has bone cancer?!

[–]dummystupid 9 points10 points ago

His only regret is having bone cancer.

[–]A_Loki_In_Your_Mind 5 points6 points ago

Have you seen a picture of a bone cancer victims skeleton?

I would regret the shit out of that.

[–]mknelson 2 points3 points ago

Not going to lie - I welled up a bit.

[–]acheronavernus 1 point2 points ago

Now that he has met his hero, his only regret is that he has boneitis.

[–]TheCloudDancer 1 point2 points ago

This child is the real courageous hero.

[–]Kuusou 1 point2 points ago

you are my honey bun sugar plum!

[–]fingertrollin 1 point2 points ago

I can't get over how much I like Christian Bale as an actor and person. He's up there with John Ham.

[–]thenatkid -1 points0 points ago

he is recruiting his new robin

[–]gj45 1 point2 points ago

Nice to know he isn't a total dick. Thanks. I needed that.

[–]SheldonPlankton -1 points0 points ago

Except it probably crushed the child finding that Batman was in truth a regular human..

[–]LeperFriend 0 points1 point ago

Damn Christian Bale keeps doing stuff to make me think he's not as much of a dick as I had thought, good for him and good for the little boy too

[–]Papaganoosh 0 points1 point ago

Sharp 4 year old, of course christian bale will appear if you light the bat signal

[–]Deadpoo 0 points1 point ago

Someone give this boy a Tumbler ride

[–]BlakeDaWiz -1 points0 points ago

[–]AppleDane -1 points0 points ago

"Lit the Bat Signal" sounds like an euphemism for smoking weed.

[–]moose75 1 point2 points ago

Here is a link to the original story http://www.vindy.com/news/2012/sep/07/jayden-meets-real-batman-christian-bale/ Ytown represented.

[–]pdmcmahon -1 points0 points ago

"Oh gooooooood for you.... and how was it?"

[–]illmattic713 -1 points0 points ago

I read the title as ," 4 year old with boner cancer"

[–]gingerbeersax 1 point2 points ago

There is still good in this world.

[–]vellyboo 1 point2 points ago

I awe'd! Great picture!

[–]Aenous 1 point2 points ago

Looks like they're at Club 33 at Disneyland.

[–]lazydracula -1 points0 points ago

Oh good for YOU

[–]CallMeMoo 1 point2 points ago

Seriously, this man may actually be the closest thing we have to a real Batman.

[–]Platypuses -1 points0 points ago

At first i thought it said 4 year old with boner, i think this is cooler though

[–]diplomat26 1 point2 points ago

all i've ever heard about bale was that he's an asshole. This year I have learned the exact opposite

[–]badlydrawnjohn -1 points0 points ago

Damn, that guy must slay so much pussy.

[–]oldfashionedguy 1 point2 points ago

I just found out my wife ie related to this kid.

[–]vainamo- 1 point2 points ago

It seems like Christian Bale's time of being a dick is coming to an end.

[–]psmwrxguy -1 points0 points ago

Aren't these poor kids scared to death when they hear that ridiculous welsh accent?

[–]voidking -1 points0 points ago

...onions man... so heart warming to see this little boy meet Batman and then to have Christian Bale step up... wow. Amazing, brings a tear to my eye.

[–]ceallaig 0 points1 point ago

Good for Mr. Bale! And double good for that scrappy survivor -- may he live long and prosper for many years to come (yes, I'm mixing my fandoms, deal ...)

[–]parker214 1 point2 points ago

I always thought Christian Bale was an asshole, but my opinion of him lately has improved significantly.

[–]lawschoollorax 1 point2 points ago

Those cheeks!!! I wanna give them a squeeze!! He is precious.

[–]corporette 1 point2 points ago

I don't care how much of an asshole Christian may be on set... he makes my vagina immensely happy.

[–]seanpmc 1 point2 points ago

Christian Bale is just so classy.

[–]rickybobby516 -1 points0 points ago

Hello. Patrick Bateman here

[–]JayceMJ -1 points0 points ago

I know he's more well known as Batman, but I honestly can't see anyone besides Patrick Bateman.

[–]navcad 1 point2 points ago

very cool!

[–]donniedisney 1 point2 points ago

Is that inside club 33?

[–]x_PinkJellyBean_x -1 points0 points ago

Awee man.. I had metastitic osteo sarcoma and i didn't get to meet Christian Bale... =[

[–]Mtownsprts 1 point2 points ago

Good guy Christian Bale.

[–]Jaggleberry 1 point2 points ago

I swear Christian Bale looks more like Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid every day.

[–]avatre0 1 point2 points ago

When I see something like this I feel a littler better about humanity

[–]MrNiceWatchBro 1 point2 points ago

What a handsome little man.

[–]archemedes_rex 0 points1 point ago

That has to be the cutest example of a real-life Campbells' kid ever.

[–]loveglove -1 points0 points ago

This dude is trying to out karma you, 2 hours later none the less. http://imgur.com/MW1Ri

[–]octonana 0 points1 point ago

Ioved this kid on the goonies

[–]capncrunch94 0 points1 point ago

If you think about it this would kinda suck in a certain way. The coolest thing this kid will probably ever do is meet Batman and he did it when he was 4. It's all downhill from here. He'll constantly be reminded of "that time he met batman/christian bale"............................................................... The bone cancer is pretty bad alo.
