I'm almost positive that the song is in 4/4 time, so it makes sense that there are five "shots" per panel, as there are five "shots" per musical bar. (the sixth "shots" in the third panel actually occurs on the first beat of the fourth bar)

The guy's already got complaints about this, and he's explained he doesn't try and imitate C&H

I enjoy Cyanide and Happiness, but I'm not trying to imitate the authors' drawing style or sense of humor. That's not to say that they don't rub off on me. Every webcomic I read influences me in at least some way, but saying that I'm trying to imitate or be the next C&H or XKCD is just a tad wrong. I'm also not an artist and I have very little patience and time to produce well-drawn, detailed figures. In short, my drawing style is very simple, and coincidentally slightly resembles C&H characters. Just for the record, I drew characters in my class notebooks similar to the ones you see now years before I ever read one of their comics. End rant.

no I just have a hard time believing him. And as he states, "that's not to say that they don't rub off on me." I personally think he should embrace others known styles as a direct influence.

The point is I think his humor is original. But the character style(s) he chooses to deliver it in, right now, isn't.

Before he finds his style he should give credit where credit is due. Even if said style was in his mind before he knew of c&h and or others.

Imitation and flattery and all that too.
