WTF is r/standupshots?

It's twitter with more pictures. It's gonewild with more jokes. It's AdviceAnimals with more people. It's free advertising for comics. It's free karma for redditors. It's standup for people for people with no attention span.

How to make a standup shot:

• Find a bit you like.
• Find a picture of the comic who said it, like this.
• Type up the bit and put it on the picture, like this.
• Put the picture on imgur.
• Put the link on /r/standupshots by clicking the Submit a Link button below.
• ???
• Profit.

Make sure your submission credits the comic, either in the photo or the title. Shots that don't will be subject to removal. You get the karma, but they get the credit. To be really cool, consider including their twitter or website information. Comics, feel free to submit your own stuff. We don't care if you're famous as long as you're funny.

Don't put the punchline in the title. Be excellent to each other. Please turn off all cell phones and pagers. There is a two item minimum purchase per person in the showroom.

Get off your ass and support your local comedy club or independent show. Limiting yourself to comics on Comedy Central is like limiting yourself to bands on MTV.
