Why is everybode complaining about that? I have to get up at 5 AM during weekdays and I know there are loads of ppl that get up before I do

Because people were complaining about 8am classes... I sometimes even get up at 4am to go to swim practice.

And I'm sorry we just so happen to be better off than the Africans. Just because a situation is worse somewhere else doesn't mean you can use it like that. I honestly hate when people use Africa as an example of something being worse than something else. Yes the situation is bad over there, so do something about it instead of exploiting their bad luck to make your point.

Yes, they're alive. We are too. So are the penguins. People die, its nature. Some faster than others, yes, but we all die. Why can't they complain, you ask? Because they haven't had the good to complain about the bad. Sounds like a douche remark, but its true.

My point is, by your logic, people in Africa shouldn't complain because somewhere, someone has it worse than they do.

It's like saying to somebody who gets stabbed, "well at least they didn't rape you as well." Dude still got stabbed, and people still wake up earlier than they want to. Just because you wake up earlier than them doesn't mean it doesn't suck to wake up earlier than you want to.

I never said someone has it worse than them, I said they haven't had the good to complain about the bad.

Using your example, a man never complains about getting stabbed until he does get stabbed.

I'm guessing you don't browse /new/ much. There are a lot of bad posts in this subreddit. Yours isn't bad, but it just isn't funny.

Also, looking at the other comments in this thread, it's obvious a lot of people share my viewpoint.

Also, I like how you "wouldn't bother with making a comeback," then made a condescending snarky comment about looking at cat pictures. Definitely impressive how quickly you reneged there.

You should look into what "effective feedback" is about. If you ask me if I like something, and I just say "no," you learn nothing. You have zero understanding of why I dislike it. You are completely prone to making the same mistake, because you didn't gain enough valuable information from the question. That's why comments exist. That's how feedback works. I made my feedback as succinct as possible.
