I understand the analogy, but wouldnt it be more like putting an idea there, that they never had in the first place?
If you took a sample group of children, and somehow magically isolated them from all outside stimuli, yet gave them "normal" upbringings, wouldnt they all come to have no religion. Actually they could make up their own too, to explain the things they cant be taught, or cant understand.
There a term for a hypothetical experiment like that?
