during the montage of walt's empire, there was another great transition, saul poured himself some wine and the liquid changed intro todd getting methlamine out of the tank....Michelle MacLaren, i cant give her enough praise. Shes also doing 2 Game of thrones episodes next year.

Nah, the best transition is from Hazard Pay, when Jr. says to Skylar, "join us mom." Cut to the infamous scene in Scarface where he empties two clips into the enemy. Flash to the bill counter machine, and fade the audio from machine gun fire to the sound of hundy after hundry piling up. IMO, the best transition of the season. I think Walt leans too far forward for the movement to seem natural.

That entire episode was amazingly shot and put together, especially the neighborhood flyover. It's the first time I didn't want a lengthy montage to end.

The song definitely helps.. so smooth. I gotta applaud their patience for waiting throughout the entire four & a half seasons for the perfect opportunity to use it.

I actually thought that was one of the worst transitions in the entire series. He's drinking a glass of scotch and then just decides to duck? They did one very similar with skinny pete, but since he was snorting meth, it made sense for him to duck. Just my opinion of course.

It just doesn't seem very natural to me. I did just realize that he's cooking in Hank's house so this was probably the least cheesy way to go about that. I'm happy.
