This reminds me of a couple I met once who apparently made a hobby of touching strangers' ears. The boyfriend went to the bathroom and on returning said to me and his girlfriend, "I just touched a baby's ear." His girlfriend looked him dead in the eye and said, "I hope you washed your hands!" To which he replied, "Of course I did! I would never touch a baby's ear with unclean hands. Man. They could get an infection or something." Good people.
