I hardly think the two things are similar. Cyndaquil has a fire on it's back it isn't invasive at all. The fire would be there even if Pikachu didn't utilize it he is simply taking advantage of a convenient fire. It might be invasive considering he has to sit still but it isn't anything like getting a cord shoved up your butt. I know if I had a flame handy I would let my friends use it. Charmander is just butthurt about nothing. He wasn't even the one getting "degraded".

Still a funny comic though.

If I remember the anime, Cyndaquil doesn't have a fire on its back at all times. I think it would be exhausting for it to maintain that fire unlike Charmander. (Also, to note that the anime may be inaccurate).
