How/where does one aquire a super tiny shopping cart? It's easily the third one I've seen this week, and every time I think to myself, "where do you buy tiny bunny sized shopping carts?" Not that I'm in the market or anything..simply intrigued at what else that store might have in it?..

I have one of those tiny shopping carts and I have no idea where it came from. Very mysterious. Maybe there is kind of a.... stork.... situation? Anyway I keep soy sauce packets in it. My cat prefers that I do his shopping.

There's a restaurant in my city that serves fries and onion rings in these exact carts. They call it their "a la cart" menu.

Kinda cute, until you realize that they bought the carts solely based on the pun.

Target used to sell them as like a fruit basket type thing. You put it on your countertop to hold stuff. I've always used mine as a cat toy basket, personally.

Speaking as someone who's awesome at self-checkout (yes, I used to be a cashier; yes, the produce codes are the same everywhere), I wish people would stop using the self-checkout if they don't know how and the store is busy. It's irritating to go in to buy a 4131 and some 4023s, and get stuck behind someone who doesn't know a 4664 from a 4017.

Also used to work a cash register (at Target). I get angry when there's no self checkout because the people that bag my stuff have no sense of efficiency when it comes to scanning and bagging. Love that self-checkout exists, but hate it when everyone is trying to flag down an associate for a code, or wondering why they're getting errors on their screen.

4131 is Fuji apples, 4023s are red grapes (unless the bag says 4499, which is important to note if they're on sale because they don't necessarily apply the sale price to both codes), 4664s are tomatoes-on-the-vine (I think plum tomatoes might also be correct), 4017s are Granny Smith apples.
