I live in Germany, in the Pfalzerwald, one of the biggest forests in Europe. I almost ran over a little fox, even smaller than the guy in this picture. He was on the road and too small to get over the curb back into the woods. Since the road was full of sharp curves I was worried someone would come around the corner and hit him before they could stop or swerve. I risked life and limb, stopped my car and got out, I used a snow/ice scraper (the kind you use on your windows) to give him a boost over the curb. He awkwardly ran away. I hauled ass and got back in my car and drove off before someone came around the corner and kilt me.

I remember reading in National Geographic that someone has been breeding foxes to be good, reliable pets, as opposed to being apprehensive of humans. I eagerly await the day I can cuddle a fluffy little fox.

As cute as baby foxes are, the sounds of two foxes at it singlehandedly the worst sound anyone should endure. We have foxes living behind our garden shed and it is one hell of a creepy noise they make.

We have a mom and her 2 babies come to our yard every night. We started feeding them and now every day as soon as they wake up they come to see what we left out for them. They romp around and play all night there. I was able to get some video but it's a bit far away.

Whilst I was finishing my computer science degree I was really stressed out and depressed but from my window I could see some train tracks and on the edge of those some foxes made a nest and gave birth to two extremely cute fox cubs! I used to set my alarm early and watch them joyfully prance around and tease their parents whilst I drank my coffee. I seem to remember them playing tug-of-war with a shoe amongst other things. Anyway, seeing them everyday kept me going in a way and, having read Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox, I will always love foxes!
