Depicts a .gif of a man holding a woman with a gun to her head. As they are standing there, the man gets shot in the head (well, more in the jaw) by someone offscreen. His head jerks back, but there is no blood spray, just a bit of skin flying off.

This .gif is not extremely haunting, might only stick with me for a few hours.

It may not be bloody, but it's pretty gruesome none the less.

Most likely the eye. Snipers are trained to, in scenarios like this, aim for what's called the t-box. It consists of the two eyes and nose. A bullet through the t-box will incapacitate someone immediately so they can't do anything like squeeze off one round, or trigger a suicide vest, after they realize they've been shot. He was dead before he hit the ground.

It's okay man. Like I said in my edit, I really did want to see midgets in a giants foot :(.

I did see the maggots in the foot one. Not that gross to me. I helped spray a miniature cow with something to get maggots out of it's belly. The sight of them "Dripping" out of the cow was fucking disturbing. Not to mention the way the skin was wiggling as they were making their way out. A still picture does not do that foot justice at all.

From a link in another comment: This happened in 1998 in the city of Cua in Venezuela (not Venezuala). 18 yr old Hector Duarte tried to rob a bakery when the cops were alerted. After a brief shoot out, he was shot in the left forearm and left leg, he ran up that apartment building and took Mrs Mercedes Lopez hostage after shooting her two 10 and 12 yrs old sons in the legs. The blood on the lady's shirt is from his wounded forearm, he demanded a car so he can go to Caracas Venezuela, and told the cops to get 2 coffins ready 1 for him and 1 for the lady because that was the only way out for him, "you shoot me I shoot her" (hence the cocky attitud) was his reply to the Hostage negotiator (sitting in car with yellow cap on) SWAT sniper was 50 meters away on a nearby roof top a single shot .302 caliber 75 grain shot was fired to end the siege.

The shot was aimed for the brain stem, which, entering from the face, would be straight back from the front teeth, where they hit him. Snipers have this idea that if you hit them there that there is a greatly reduced chance of accidental trigger pull, and I think that's been shown repeatedly to be true.
