My fingers rest on WASD for obvious reasons. If I ever need to copy something I can just slide them down a bit, my pinky holds control while my index finger is poking C and V (Sometimes X when I'm feeling naughty). This is scuba gear for a fish.

What all keyboards really need is a simple big red button that instantly opens up task management for when you fuck up. That way when someone who doesn't know shit about computers has his/her computer frozen, they don't start panicking and call someone who does know. Press red button=> shut off all programs(the process tab should be locked though, don't want them closing things in that).

as someone who works with a computer and uses ctrl+c and ctrl+v rather constantly, but also +a, +s, +x, +d, +f, etc., and the +shift+/+alt+ variations), there's no way you'd ever get me to leave home row (and thus 99% of what I do) to perform two functions which are already remarkably simple with the existing setup.

in fact, the only thing I wish I could do is trade the function key (which is on the right (aka the wrong) side of the keyboard) with the windows key (which is more or less superfluous now that we have pinned taskbar items).
