Personally, when a car tries to block me on purpose, I hit them with my bike. I bike straight into the car. If there's oncoming traffic and you scoot forward into oncoming traffic, you're going to get hit. So if you scoot forward when you see bicycle traffic is coming, you're getting hit.

Now, it's different if they're in the right hand turn lane, I don't care about those people, they can turn right on red. But when they're just sitting there waiting to go straight, I see them look at me, and they scoot up, I hit them. Usually this involves me flipping over the handlebars and landing back first on the hood. I'm heavy so usually this involves damage to the hood.

And in case people are like "Oh, you're such a dick" in the area I live in, the crosswalks are just like the video. If someone scoots forward a little bit, they still won't be in the crosswalk. They have to move a couple car lengths to block the entire crosswalk. You can't "accidentally" block the crosswalk.

Fun anecdote, you know how some BMW drivers are assholes? There was a guy in one of those BMW suvs who tried to pull this move, I'll have to take a picture of the intersection and post it so you guys can see how ridiculous it was, he pulled forward like 10 yards or something.

Anyways, so I'm biking, he surges forward, I speed up, POW boom, hit the hood, slid off and fell in front of his car. I get up and it's a guy in his 40s/50s shouting about how I'm going to have to pay for all the damage and scratches etc. I tell him I'm calling the police for hitting me and he says that's fine, he'll wait. A couple cars back was a woman, she decides to stay as a witness.

A cop comes, asks what happens, this woman speaks up real loud, "The light was red, he went to cross on his bike and the man in the BMW tried to ram him off the crosswalk!"

The officer asked the guy if it was true and he said "No, I was just scooting up to get ready to turn!"

The officer said "You had to scoot up this far?"

"Well, I thought the light had turned green for me so I started to go"

"So you weren't paying attention to the road while operating a motorized vehicle?"

Anyways, the guy got arrested for attempted vehicular manslaughter, the BMW got towed, and many lulz were had by all. Except the guy in the BMW.
