try a different tone? my phone can be deafeningly loud, but i turn it down. i have this one called morning sunrise. it starts out quiet then grows louder to wake you up gently. i usually hear it the second it goes off.

I actually remembered to turn mine off... However, the construction crew thats working on my building figured that 6 AM on a saturday is a good time to start jackhammering the stucco off the wall beside my bedroom. Thanks construction crew, I now totally don't regret staying up until 2AM.

Actually, it's a nice feeling when you wake up with the alarm going off, only to realise its the weekend and I can fall back to sleep.
