No matter what you do as a politician, you can't win. Someone somewhere will always be able to find something you're doing "wrong" and then emphasize it to no end.

You can be the ripest, most juicy peach in the whole world, but there will always be people out there who just hate peaches.

May I ask why? It's not charitable to help those in need? To take a little money from these privileged assholes who hoard there money to easy the stress of those who actually need the help.

Of course it's charitable to help those in need. But then again, you're not helping those in need. Someone else is. Someone else is being forced to give up the money they earned to someone they've never met.

I'm glad you care for the needy. Now go show it by giving them your own money, like us conservatives do.

I know how easy it is to hate the antics of the coke queen Paris Hilton, or Kim Kardashian, But you're more likely to encounter a Sarah Blakely than one of those airheads.

Sarah Blakely got insanely rich by creating a product (Spanx) that people (women) wanted.

I did not say squat about the government. I was referring to OP. Charity is when one person reaches in their pocket or pantry, takes out food and / or money and gives it to some one in need. OP made a statement about paid employment of a homeless person. The little girl was talking about helping the homeless with tax dollars. Are you aware that you can earmark your tax payments to be parceled out to specific branches of the government? If you don't want the pitiful amount you pay in used to help the needy, get a tax accountant to help you fill out one of the more complex forms that allows you to earmark your taxes.

I didn't write it, all I did was share the photo. And I posted it to r/funny. So lighten up. If I wanted to get into a serious debate I would have posted it to r/politics. And for the record, I have no political standpoint.

Nowhere did I claim to have written the paper. So it is insensible for you to make that assumption. Notice in my title I didn't say anything about ME specifically having this conversation with someone.

I am not pretending that I don't know how Redditors respond to controversial posts. I've lurked Reddit longer than 7 months. So I'm not that new. And seeing as you have only been a Redditor for 3 months, and I 7 (officially), I'd presume that you haven't been alotted enough time to get into the Redditor spirit of sarcasm. Especially here in r/funny. So I would scold YOU, and tell you that you should know better than to try to start some pathetic, immature political squabble in a very, very light-hearted subreddit. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for being so new. A slight slap of public humiliation on the wrist ought to do it! Now be on your merry way, and get over it :)

  • I didn't call you a bitch, or peg you as one in any of my rebuttals.
  • I'm in college. Therefore, not a tenth grader.
  • I said "insensible."
  • I didn't start a political squabble, nor was I involved in one. I was correcting you for pressuming I had been the one to write the story about the little girl. Which led you to incorrectly peg me for being a member of any political party.
  • My response wasn't hysterical at all. I'm chalk-full of sarcasm, so you are really hard to take seriously, and thus, hard to respond to with seriousness.
