Close, but you can still kill a person without criminal intent and not be guilty of voluntary or involuntary manslaughter. i.e. running over a guy that is trying to cross the highway at night; however, if you were doing 105mph at the time and you replace highway with school zone, it's a whole different story.

What the fuck are you talking about? Manslaughter is distinguished from murder by what your state of mind was committing the crime, and is associated with less culpability than murder, but not NONE. Manslaughter is subdivided into voluntary and involuntary manslaughter - BOTH of which VERY MUCH carry criminal liability. Unless you are telling me that manslaughter gets you off scott free at a trial every time, you should revise you asinine statement, because you are indeed asserting that the woman is culpable for a miscarriage.

I wasn't saying that she is, nor that she should be. I was saying that if you're going to say that getting an abortion is murder, then the logical step would be to say that a miscarriage is manslaughter. I hold neither of those opinions, I just felt that it was a better analogy than the one on the sign.
