Thing I absolutely love the most that I miss every time I'm on the computer is a more robust "hide child comments"

I don't remember if this is an RES feature or not but a the beginning of every comment thread on the pc, there is the option to hide child comments and collapse the thread so you can read the next highest thread. Ok cool right?

Well, sometimes, like in ask reddit there will be a post and then maybe the 3rd comment down is a pun thread. Cool whatever sometimes I'm in the mood and they are funny sometimes no. Well on the pc the only options are either collapse the WHOLE thread (which is sometimes hundreds of comments) or scroll through till the next highest reply.

With the phone I can collapse reply threads by clicking on the name of the person. It collapses his response and all the ones under it without closing the whole comment. Then maybe I can read a few more collapse those, or swipe my finger to the left and the whole thread closes (like hide children comments) and move on.

I hope that made sense. I don't know how to explain it better. Sometimes I scroll down a list of a hundred comments on the computer and I forget that I have to scroll all the way to the top to collapse the whole thing and it annoys me cause I can do it with a swipe on my phone. Or that I can collapse just a small tree where the comments got off track about another guys story and I wanna read more replies about the parent comment.

That coupled with being able to Block posts and comments that have a certain word in it (put in [m] in the block list and you'll never see another penis on GW again)

Being able to much more quickly look at ALL top posts vs your subscribed list

Being able to have categories of subscribed lists (I have a buncha science ones in one set and a buncha games in another, so I don't come across a Pokemon article when I'm in the mood to read about some new cool science tech stuff and vice versa. Nothing is more of a buzz kill than reading about guild wars 2 and Mario and then see "west Nile spread linked with not washing your hands in the bathroom". Sometimes I don't wanna think. And sometimes I do.

Seeing easily if a link is of a pic or sends you to a website, and then at the bottom of the comment it lists them all together in easier to click buttons (some people put the link as a . And it's hard to press on the phone. This makes a button easy to click on)

It's a bunch of little things that you don't NEED but when you don't have them on the computer you notice them missing.
