Depends on whether you're using a botanical or culinary definition of fruit vs. vegetable. Culinarily, the only vegetablea there are the two melons. The rest are all culinary vegetables.

Not many people do, since you're being downvoted. It's a nice photoshop, nothing more. Could've been done better, especially the shadows. Using stock-photo's from vegetables doesn't add to the believeability of the pic.

Either way, they're wrong: it's neither a good fruit sculpture (it's mostly vegetables, both botanical and culinary in definition; it's not real), nor a good fake fruit sculpture (the photoshopping is amateur).

I think zucchini and most summer squashes are what you consider an "immature fruit", but for culinary purposes(the only purpose that really matters to me - yummy) it is treated as a vegetable. I'm only really paying attention to the flavor aspect of it, though. I wouldn't consider zucchinis or chile peppers sweet in any way; therefore, I would not consider them a fruit.
