This is the most not true statement I have read today. Older people get territorial when it comes to younger people doing their jobs better and it comes down to throwing people under the bus to make themselves look good. Also incompetent managers, brown nosers, acquisition firms etc. The higher up you go the more you have to play the game. Sorry.

This is from season 8 (the latest one). A lot of people think that the Office went downhill after Steve Carell left, which it did, but it hasn't totally crashed and burned. I think the writing in season 8 has been pretty funny - funny characters like Kevin, Andy, and Dwight still said hilarious things every episode.

I will keep watching The Office as long as Elle Kemper is on it and I can enjoy her bouncing around in sexy office attire. Luckily, there are still a few laughs supplied... though the character they made for James Spader was endlessly entertaining until they started writing him off. I will miss his ambiguous sexuality and blatantly condescending interactions.

YES. Compare season 2 (the best season) with season 7. Kevin was fat and slightly stupid, but you could see how he could have a job as a low leveled accountant. In season (I think it was 6) a woman believed he was mentally retarded even after working with him for a while.

Well that's because Dwight told Holly that he was mentally retarded, and she assumed everything he did was because of his mental retardation. She didn't come to the conclusion on her own, but attributed the way he is because he is mentally retarded.
