I never understood how this bodily function works. I can go away for several days at a time and just not take a shit. How??? Where does it all go?!

I hypothesized that it's a survival mechanism. Like through some evolutionary pattern our brain recognizes that we're very vulnerable while we excrete waste, so we can only go in a comfortable, safe area. Could be entirely wrong though...

Our hall had five stalls, which we numbered based on distance from the door. You never wanted to use 1 and 2 - these were the prime spot for pukers and it was not uncommon for them to be covered in vomit or a passed out drunk person. Stall 2 was particularly bad since it had a black toilet seat, so you could never tell just how dirty it was.

Stall 3 was risky as well, but usable in emergencies, no one puked in it but sometimes the puke or drunk person from stall 2 would spill into it. It had a very strange off-white toilet seat; I was never able to determine if this was its original color or years of dried piss.

Stall 4 and 5 were by far the best, typically free of vomit (except for one isolated incident, fuck you Josh). The trick there is that while stall 4 was the best, that also meant it was the most frequented and thus often occupied or low on toiler paper. Personally I always took the extra few steps to stall 5, the seat was kind of loose and annoying, but it was by far the most dependable stall.

A similar method applied to the showers and which ones were used for masturbation, but that's another story.

Relevent story: I came back from a week in San Diego (to East coast) and flew all day, no time to take a slam. My girlfriend picks me up at the airport and we go back to the house I share with someone. Well we have a keypad entry on the front door so it is OK to deadbolt it but DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LOCK THE HANDLE.

Rommate's dumb ass friend had been by there earlier and done just that. I could not get in to my own house when all I wanted to do was sit on my own porcelain throne, start laundry, and go to sleep.

Long story short we had to go somewhere and kill time for 2 hours until my roommate got back with his garage opener. I guess it never occurred to him that since he knew it had accidentally gotten locked (he knew) 6 hours before I got home he easily could have texted me and said to swing by his work on the way from the airport to the house. Nope. Never crossed his mind.

you eat a lot more and get dehydrated from all the activities. it's hard to drink enough water because you don't want to go to the bathroom so often. have more veggies, fruits, water and less salty foods to stay hydrated. but i know many of you won't call that vacation. :)
