What does a scanner see? Into my head? Down into my heart? Does it see into me, into us? Clearly or darkly? I hope it sees clearly because I can't any longer see into myself. I see only murk. I hope for everyone's sake, the scanners do better. Because if the scanner sees only darkly, like I do, then I'm cursed and cursed again. I'll only wind up dead this way, knowing very little and getting that little fragment wrong too.

Yes, exactly. I don't know if this is just a quote from the book. I only saw the film because it's really difficult to get one of Dick's books in my country. However, this is an amazing sight about one of the most touching movies ever have been made. Congrats to you, ketchupboogie.

Oh yeah, this is nothing like what I pictured the scramble suit to look like though. It said it made you look like a "vague blur" so I always pictured it changing so fast you couldn't actually make out any features.

I am not a man. I am also not a dick. I'm sometimes sarcastic but (unlike you) I don't insult people. I'm passionate about politics and ethics and my views can be considered radical compared to the mainstream, then again I rarely get downvotes which means I don't offend people or annoy them too much, I just love a good debate.

My comment was a fairly brain dead approach at feigning someone with facial recognition problems. Although, aside from being lame, it was inaccurate as someone who is faceblind would have still seen the faces shuffling through, they just wouldn't remember any of the faces.
